Liked: The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms were much better than other places I've stayed in the same price-range. The lounge was big and had great offers with pool-table, tv, dvd and high standard on the kitchen.Highly recommendable!

Liked: Dont be put off by first impressions- Bankhall is a really good value for money place to stay. Kitchen spotless and loads of food available for breakfast. Spacious lounge area with two internet computers, table tennis and pool table. Toilets and showers very clean. good size room

Liked: i liked the staff, they were very helpful and told us of private taxis that worked out cheaper when travelling late at nigt, also recommended a few attractions in town overly impressed with cheapiness and clean facilites available.

Liked: Usually you get what you pay for, but at this hostel you get so much more. If you stay here you get Clean, Accomodating, Quiet, Friendly and Helpful. It was even cleaner than my own apartment back home. The owners met up at Bank Hall trainstation upon our arrival, they took us by car to buy a pizza since it was late at night and always answered their cellphone when we called. Kitchen was avalible 24-7.Bank Hall trainstation is only 2-3 stations away from Liverpool City central. I recommend you buy the daily pass which cost £3.30 /day,,,and the pass will take you all the way to the airport.

Liked: Out of town but 1 minute to train station.(Takes 7 min to centre) Alex the owner is very friendly and there is a lounge where you can relax. Window sill and blind was a bit dusty, but overall place is clean. You get your own fridge for breaky and it's basically help yourself. I slept really well and heard no real outside noise or anyone tramping around.(Hostel is situated in a relatively quiet area) Shared toilets and showers but never had to wait for either. Cafe below incase you get the munchies - don't let this put you off I never heard anything from there.

Liked: there isn´t staff, is only a man who is the boss of the hotel! and a woman who clean it, the man is a very good man, very kind and polite.it has a big living room, but you can be scared when you go int the first time, because it is like a house and not like a hotel, but after that it is a good placed,the main problem ís that it is far of the city centre but it is not a big problem because you can call a taxi (DELTA TAXI) who is te fastest and the cheapest,and it cost 4 or 5 pounds

Liked: It was cheap, quite near to the centre of liverpool, friendly and very helpful staff and clean (apart from other guest's smoking and not cleaning after themselves), good breakfast. Nice room, nice showers. Very good!

Liked: I honestly love that place. I stayed there only 2 nights, but I must go there next year again (or sooner). It's cheap, near to the station, and luxury for that money... Oh, and Alex (the owner) and the charwoman were very helpful and pleasant.

Liked: The owners are very friendly, they help you in what you need. The instalation is magnific, it has everything what you need, it has a salon where you can play ping pong, billar, you can conect to internet an there are sofas, also there is a common kitchen which has several fridges for each room, and of course everthing is very clean.The hostel is situated in a perfect place from which you can take the train and visit liverpool.

Liked: We loved staying here! The only big problem is there is no sign on the outside that says ¨Bankhall Hotel¨ so finding it was terribly difficult. Get a new sign, or change the name of the hotel! Otherwise, it was such a delight to stay there!

Liked: It was great value for money and the fact that it isn't bang in the centre of the city means it is much quieter which nice. But the fact that the train station is a stones throw away and a taxi was cheap enough to the city centre mean't that you got the best of both worlds as far as partying and peace and quiet go.

Liked: An excellent hotel. The facilities were excellent the location was top notch and best of all the price of £15 per night per person was an absolute bargain. Will stay over again and again on our next visits to Liverpool!

Liked: Alex, the owner is a very very kind person,I think you'll rarely find such a friendly and caring person in a hotel. Position is good, 30 seconds from bank hall station; 30-40 min. if u wanna walk to the centre. It has everything a hostel generally has;moreover you'll find a hall with a tabletennis table,a billiard table, two pc with internet, tables and chairs,and a plasma screen tv. A cheap hotel but it's worth it.
