Liked: location and receptionist.

Disliked: Mould in the shower room,almost zero pressure in sink wash and toilet flush(!),horrible noise coming from behind the door to the cupboard where water tank is.The actual cupboard itself is in the room,so I guess it would be better for the hotel not to use it as a room for the paying customers.Wake up call (not ordered!!!) at 7 am!!! Breakfast served only 1 hour.

Liked: The helpful, and relaxed staff and the ideal location!!. It was quite modern for an older house type conversion and it was actually lovely and quite. The two guys on reception were very sweet an friendly when I was in a rush one night!!

Disliked: The 2 night minimum, for I only ended up staying the one night, for my plans suddenly changed.

Liked: I liked the location and the fact that on arrival besides the room key another one for the main door is provided. giving the freedom to come in and out at any time.

Disliked: There were some details like the wardrobe not in good condition but, I have to say for thye price I couldn't ask for more. I work in the hotel industry but the properties wheer I work are luxury ones where things have to be unspiolt for the price paid. So once again it wasn't a big problem for me.

Liked: great location, not too far from the main shops and right by the pier.

Disliked: The hotel itself was poor. The bathroom sliding door was broken and so my partner and I had to watch eachother going to the bathroom - not plesant!, the shower kept going from freezing cold to boiling hot (burning my skin) and then randomly turning itself off, and the hairdryer provided started to smoke as I turned it on. The room itself was clean and fine for one nights stay but the facilities were very poor and unusable. When paying to stay somewhere you expect the facilities they offer to be in working order and at Urban House this was not the case.

Liked: very friendly staff, especially at the reception the best location in the city safe

Disliked: room service was terrible. they did not clean the rooms well i put a dirty towel on the floor, which internationally means "please change it with a fresh one", and chamber maid oput it back to its former place in the bathroom- which i found simply disgusting. room service- chamber maids definetely need some training:)

Liked: It was central

Disliked: Very unclean room. The Bathroom was very bad, dirty toilet, blood on walls and lightswitch, Hair on the linen in the bed. Dirty walls. Noisey.

Disliked: No free parking, bar was rubbish, some very odd decoration and the room we had could have done with a bit of sprucing up.

Liked: Was a nice place to stay. Didn't have brochures available, but that is probably good for the environment anyway! Friendly staff. Breakfast good but only continental.
