Liked: Nice location, within walking distance to town center, bus stops and the beach. I stayed in a single room but was given a double bed, room was spacious, clean, towel and tea/coffee making facilities available.

Disliked: No WiFi access in room, can only use the Internet in the public area (lounge and breakfast area). One of the curtains wasn't in good shape. The receptionist wasn't very friendly and helpful when I first arrived.

Liked: My priority was to get some accommodation within 15 minutes drive from the airport for a 7am appointment and it needed to be as inexpensive as possible. This hotel was perfectly adequate for this purpose and I am under no illusions as to what you get for £20. I have stayed in far worse in London and paid a good deal more for a shared dorm. I would certainly stay here again if i was in the area and it needed to be cheap.

Liked: Location was good, breakfast ok, fun with all the rock/pop photos, some of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: The elevator was out of order, windows were very difficult to close and open, beds were terrible...The rooms were of very different standard; the first we were shown was very, very small - it was almost not possible to pass beside the beds and the wall. . We changed to another room (due to that one of the beds were broken) and that one was very large and more pleasant.

Liked: I did not like this hotel.

Disliked: Rooms are trully outdated, cleanliness is terrible. We found old cigarette buds under the bed. This hotel is stucked in time somwhere in 80's. For the same rate one could get normal B&B.

Liked: atmosphere decoration it's like a youth hostel but you have more the privacy.

Disliked: the furniture is like in a youth hostel... and maybe it is for that we love it:o)

Liked: I liked this hotel because the staff especially the receptionist were really helpful, friendly and welcoming....I enjoyed being here so that I have booked an extra four nights. The pictures and memorabilia on the walls were absolutely amazing and I really enjoyed eating my breakfast opposite a big picture of a pop group in the sixties.....I am still trying to work out who they are....Maybe Brian Poole and the tremolos ...not sure

Disliked: There was nothing I disliked about this hotel.

Liked: very nice staff and very original hotel decorated with souvenirs of the music business in the city. Very good value for money with excellent location, 5 min walk from the beach and pier and 5 min walk from town center.

Liked: Very good location, just a couple of minutes away from the sea and town centre.

Disliked: Room was dirty and infested with bed bugs, although was moved to another, cleaner room. Price of room was about double the price I would have paid. Stayed on NYE, and perfect location for a night out, but it was totally crazy, fights breaking out in the corridors, constant shouting screaming right outside the door etc. To be fair, not the hotels fault, and expected a certain amount of noise and disruption, but not to that extent.

Liked: The band pictures covering the walls was a nice touch. Free car parking. Spacious rooms. Good heating.

Disliked: Beds very uncomfortable. Sheets were dirty and didn't fit the bed. Eery feeling to the place.

Liked: Everything else was good apart from a 'little' surprise that has cost me over hundred pounds. I was eaten alive by bed bugs in room 15. I've never been encountered by this horrible issue before and I ended up with a worst allergic reaction I've even had in my life. I have over hundred bites on my skin after I woke up in the morning, itching as hell. As I said everything else was fine and the staff very friendly but this is something I don't even want for my enemies so be warned! I read many comments about this place beforehand and not even a single comment was negative not to mention bed bugs. Maybe it was just this room, don't know, but I've ended up paying over hundred pounds to secure I'm not infesting my house in case I've returned home with them in my luggage plus antihistamine pills and steroid creme to heal my horrible looking rash and bites all over my body.
