Liked: LOcation is brilliant, rooms are perfect, very clean, staff is really nice and helpful, and the rooftop with breakfast is excellent. I would always go there again , when in Luxor.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Good location - near train station. Price was OK.

Disliked: The beding was dirty. The paint on the bathroom ceiling was hanging off due to the mould growth. Also, our room was a bit noisy at times as it was near reception.

Liked: The rooms are very nice, clean bathrooms, hot water, bed every day made. The rooftop was very nice to sit, a shame it always seems to be empty? Mr. Abrahim was friendly and most of the tours are good value for money, but see dislikes.

Disliked: No more bikes on hire, internet broken and it doesn't seem to get fixed soon. Also direct after you have payed and signed you get 10 minutes talk to sell the tours, and it is never possible to find someone else to share the price! Instead of renting bikes he trying to sell taxis for 150 pond to the west bank of luxor.

Liked: The location is really convenient. 10-12 min walk to train station and 15 minute walk from Luxor Temple. 5 mins away from the Nile Corniche. The staff at the hotel were super friendly and helpful.The rooms are clean and they have AC and a fan which is more than enough to sleep at night without getting sick.The breakfast is fantastic!

Liked: The only problem of this hostel is its room is too small, but is a nice place to stay, and the staff sells bottled water at a very cheap price (2 LE for 1.5L water, you will understand what I mean when you see it be sold at 10 LE or more in some places).

Liked: The room was good. However the girl behind the reception is rude, lazy and does not speak English. Mr. Ibrahim is the only one who seems to have any heart for the hotel. The place is also very noisy and the staff makes it a point to scream from the rooftop terrace to the ground floor making it impossible to sleep past 7.00.

Liked: Very helpful staff, specially Mahmoud at the reception, who gave us all kind of information about tours, the city, transports and other kind of advices. We took one of their tours to the Valley of the Kings, and it was perfectly organized, with a very interesting guide, and good price too. Breakfast is just DELICIOUS, the best one I've ever had in a youth hostel. Cofee, toast, cheese, vegetables, pancakes, milkshake and lemon juice. Every day on the roof terrace, included in the price. And last but not least, the whole hostel was spotelessslly clean. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDABLE!!!!

Liked: We were attracted to the hotel due the Lonely Planet's mention of a free washing machine for guest use. This is no longer on offer, which was disappointing. Our rooms were cleaned and sheets changed each day, which was a nice treat for backpacker prices.
