Liked: It`s a nice little Hotel with view of Luxor Temple, with a good restaurant on the roof and a pool on the roof, the staff was very helpfull.

Liked: The hotel was very grand, very clean, and the staff were very helpful. The breaksfast was of good standard with lots of choice (especially for me on a wheat-free diet ). The room service was also excellent. It is was haven away from the hassle experienced outside on the streets of Luxor!

Liked: Beautifully architectured to the outside and towards the Nil.Sadly, it is compressed by two giant hotel on it's right and on it's left ...making you feel uncomfortable :( adding to that, there is a contiguous and enerving climatisation noise : preventing you to sleep.To sum up : very nice in design (hotel and swimming pool), but noise and confinment is a no go for me later.

Liked: For £7.50 per person per night with airport pick up and breakfast included what is there not to like. The rooms have balconies that overlook the Nile and the room is cleaned every day. The pool is also excellent. I will be returning to this Hotel.

Liked: This is actually a hotel. Very good value for money. Views to the western bank (balloons in the morning). Pool. No noise from the street.

Liked: The building itself is well designed, with a large courtyard in front of the entrance to buffer the noise from the main street. The outside garden/swimming pool area also proved a good design despite the limited space, maximizing the superb view of the river Nile and the West bank.The decorative order and the overall aesthetic were pleasant and luminous particularly in the Hall and lounge.The room was adequately furnished whilst the bathroom was spacious and in pristine conditions with a good selection of toiletries. The creative towel arrangements, typically found in Egyptian hotels also were original and imaginative. The staff was professional with a very good command of foreign languages. I had the unfortunate experience on this holiday to have my luggage misdirected by the airline and at the hotel they could have not been more supportive in contacting the airport, booking my taxi, and translating when necessary.The only major fault of the hotel is however the proximity to other big hotel complex (namely Sonesta St George Hotel) whose evening disco music events on their river bank are so loud to prevent any sleeps at all (and they last until 00.00 am).As express on the form, my experience at the Lotus Hotel, Luxor was a positive one and I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to others given its standards and the good value for money.Kind regardsSergio Simion

Liked: Really nice hotel in a perfect location! The high light of our vacation (besides seeing all the amazing sights of this historical city) was sitting by the pool, overlooking the felukas on river Nile and enjoying the sunset. Staff was friendly and willing to help out in planning excursions, making suggestions and reserving places.

Liked: Breakfast inkluded in fare was amazing! We were given a room with a magnificent Nile-view and the pool-area was actually better than in the pictures. When my auntie forgot her reading-glasses at the hotel we called them from Aswan and they actually DELIVERED them to the hotel in Aswan!!!! Thats 300km away from Luxor!!! Speaking of customer service mindedness!!! Amazing service! We paid USD60 /per night and it wes definately worth the money!
