Liked: excellent location right next to luxor temple and on minibus route from tv street right down to karnak.reception and dining room look good and tourist police in lobby to stop hastlers following you in

Disliked: rooms tired,curtains missing or falling down, in need of good clean (we found previous persons toenail clippings all over the carpet!yuk!).staff friendly but dont always come up with what you ask (we asked for a price to transfer to el quseir which never materialised,good job we found another way ourselves). at the end of the day for the money you pay you are paying solely for the location.

Liked: Walking distance to Luxor Temple, clean rooms and nice bathroom. Arrived from Cairo a day earlier than booked (my mistake) but they still gave us our rooms even at 9am.

Disliked: Reception staff spoke very poor english so they were not helpful with advice on train tickets and ordering taxis. We asked to check out a little later in one of the rooms so we can take a shower before catching the sleeper train, first they said ok and than they said they were fully booked but we can use shower room near the pool area. We agreed, however, when we returned in the evening, the lady manager wouldn't let us take our bags with us to the shower area (bags on ground floor, shower on 7th floor) so that wasn't friendly.

Liked: location

Disliked: when we go down to eat breakfast,about 30 mins,our money in the room was gone. we are very sure we lose money at that time in that room. more than 1000eu. we are very sad and angry for the staff,they offer no any help. we holp people do not choose this property ,if you are there now ,take your money with you all the time.

Liked: free wi-fi in the common areas. free buffet breakfast (although not that good, but at least it was free). cable tv w/ 2 movie channels. roof top view.

Disliked: water shortages, no wi-fi in the rooms, staff always pushing tours, for example: staff- hello, how are you customer-fine, thanks. staff-how about a tour today. customer-not today, maybe next time. (repeat each time you get your key) the worst was that they had a pool, but it was so dirty we couldn't use it (imagine how that sucks in the heat of Egypt). had to sneak into the hotel pool next door...hehehe!!

Liked: Great pool & location. This hotel sits between Luxor & Karnak Temples. Wonderful roof top views of Luxor Temple & the Nile.

Disliked: The front desk is VERY pushy about signing you up for the tours. We weren't in our room 3 minutes after check in & they were calling on the room phone trying to persuade us to join the tours that are OVER PRICED! This was really annoying.

Liked: The location is very very good, and the the staff is really nice. The tour that they offered are decent, and it does not cover any hidden cost. They were very helpful and recommended us to the restaurants which have nice food.

Liked: Take the lift up to the top floor to find a sunny roof terrace with pool. The view includes the Luxor temple (the ancient Luxor-Karnak road passes the front of the hotel), the Nile, and out in the distance you can just make out the template of Hatshepsut, and the cliffs marking the edge of the valley of the Kings.The rooms were a decent size and adequately furnished. This really is a hotel in contrast to the "hotels" in Cairo which commonly seem to be a single floor of a tower block. The station is about a 5 minute drive.We were met (by chance) at the overnight train by a man called Ahmed Omar (discoverytours@yahoo.com). If you can track him down his tours were at very reasonable prices and pick up from the hotel - we did three; West Bank (Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Temple of Hatshepsut, Collosi of Memnon), East Bank (Temples of Karnak and Luxor) and the Fallouca trip, and were very happy with them all.

Liked: Excellent value for money! A great place to stay! Nice views from the rooftop swimming pool to the Nile and the Luxor Temple and central location. The only negative was one of the waiters who tried to be funny with foreign women (trying to play games by the pool) but failed miserably...

Liked: Very nice and new hotel. The service was excellent and the stuff very helpfull. I think it was a 4 star and not a 3 star hotel. Very good location; in the center of the city. It was not far from the station and not far to the nile and the luxor temple. We had a nice breakfast buffet. Everything was more then 100%. I stayed here with 3 other friends and they liked this hotel too. In front of the hotel is a shopping mall and there is an excellent restaurant i can recommend.
