Liked: It was very cheap & there were no real downsides. It's also close to the cheaper restaurants in town.

Disliked: The bathroom floor sloped away from the drain, so we had to water broom the floor dry.

Liked: rooms are not flash but offer good value for money. the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Outdoor seating area could be nicer and chairs on verandahs.

Liked: Dahab is a gem of a place and we were glad that we choose the budget Jowhara Hotel to stay at whilst we were there. The best things about this hotel are the people and location. Tracey and all the staff, even the cleaners were very friendly and full of great advice and help! The staff organised for us very competitively priced private taxi's to both the Blue Hole and Moray Garden reefs and on our final day a private taxi all the way to Taba (border crossing into Eilat in Israel). Jowhara Hotel is only 1 block back from the Red Sea and not too long a walk down to the Kashari House (a must try meal for only $1 USD) and look out for "Maya Maya".. the best of the restaurants along the esplanade by far. A great place to stay and guaranteed you will want to extend your stay in Dahab!

Liked: The staff were really nice and helpful. The room was great for the price! aircon was a plus and the location was close to the water front , restraunts and shops. If i came back I woudl definately stay there again!!Thankyou!!!!
