Liked: Great location and staff. Very helpful with restaurant suggestions and getting reasonable cabs. Helpful when asked what various things should cost. Someone was waiting at the airport when we arrived just as promised.. We were very pleased with our selection of Cairo Inn

Liked: We could highly recommend this hostel. It was clean, newly refurnished and was better than we had expected. We had an double ensuite and our bathroom was fresh, clean and nice. Even the towels were great. The owner is very friendly and he is an entrepreneur. He has a shop nearby where he sell perfume and papyrus-paintings. You can however buy these products even at Khan Al Khalili - far cheaper, but maybe not the same quality. One of the staff did not fullfil his tasks and he was immediately sacked - high security level with web cameras. We especially appreciated the free wireless internet since we brought our mini-pc with us.From what we can understand this hostel is extremely nice and also cheap.
