Liked: We travelled in Egypt at Christmas time, a time full of tourists. The staff tried his best to get the sleeping train from Cairo to Aswan for us. We really appreciated it very much. The taxi driver, Hahja, was nice and friendly, too.

Disliked: Hui Ju left no negative feedback.

Liked: We liked the kindness of the people, the short walking distance to the city center and the balcony with the view over smoky Cairo. But the price is a bit high compared to other budget hotels because the private bathrooms are not very clean and the walls to the next room in some cases are very thin.

Liked: A really friendly hostel, the staff were great and really helpful, no matter what the time of day or night it was. The rooms were spacious and comfy, en-suite was basic but good. We would reconmend staying at the hostel, very close to the metro, shops and Egyptian Museum. Continental breakfast was fine and the breakfast area was a nice place to be. The only down side for the hostel, was that the walls, more like floor to ceiling partitions are very thin and you can hear everything through them, but I'm a light sleeper. Book and enjoy your stay.

Liked: Very accomodating staff, extremely helpful--even finding me a place to eat during Ramadan! Very central location, great view from terrace.
