Liked: Altough the stuff is quite friendly, they are not customer-oriented at all. Facilities are (just) ok.
Disliked: The hotel is rather run down and old. We had problems with our room, which had a broken balcony-door. After telling the guys at reception about 5 times, they finally sent someone to fix the door. After one hour watching them to repair the door, the staff finally allowed us to move into another room. This room was only "slightly" better, as the water was running out of the toilet and flooded the whole bath. The hotel is definitely overprized - there are better options in hostels and guesthouses in Cairo for half of the price we paid at Pharaoh Egypt Hotel.
