Liked: Everything was perfect. Very very helpful staff/team, very clean rooms, 2 minutes from the town centre, facing a running river, hot power shower...all these add to the charm of Cuenca. The price is truly justified and the team truly deserve praise. In one word, it was excellent! In several words, it is a place worth going to again and again!

Liked: Great breakfast. The staff are excellent also. They put up gamely with my bad Spanish for a while before just switching to English. I had an awesome view of the river. Downtown is a a few blocks up the hill so very close.

Disliked: Nothing. Inexpensive compared to a non-dorm in Montanita, and worth the price for a single room.

Liked: Staff speaks perfect English, which is quite rare in Ecuador.

Disliked: There was really nothing to dislike. A minor detail - my room with a river view was on the 1st floor with the window facing the patio where the breakfast was served, so I had to keep the curtains closed unless I wanted everyone to see into my room.

Liked: Everything is right about Villa Nova. It is in the heart of everything, in a beautiful setting, great staff, and would be a bargain at twice the price.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike; it rocks!

Liked: Free internet, convenient location and staff very friendly and helpful

Disliked: No self-catering facilities, breakast a bit small for what is included free, access to the building is via locked gate (you have to call to be let in) and service and tax is NOT included in the advertised price.

Liked: Good location, very helpful staff and very secure.

Disliked: The rooms on the ground floor don´t have a great view like it says in the description and breakfast only includes juice coffe and a roll, the rest you have to pay for.
