Liked: Located near Malecon and Museum of the Revolution.

Disliked: Fumigated, terrible smelling rooms, water that intermittently stops working, unhelpful chain-smoking reception staff, people smoking in the restaurant. Not permitted to pay for a local phone call in an emergency. No internet access. Have to pay extra for safe use. A friend had clothes stolen.

Liked: Great location, rooms weren't the biggest but you got what you paid for. Staff were efficient.

Disliked: Rooms could have been better lit, lack of windows was not ideal.

Liked: It is in a very good location. The hotel provides minimum requirements for cleanliness and safety, but do not expect much. There is hot water. Breakfast is good.

Disliked: Nothing particularly, however, during our stay, a couple from another room complained about the noise of airconditions and wanted to switch to our room when we are leaving. There is no facility for internet connection. However, this is offered very nearby sevilla hote.

Liked: The location is good for walking trips around in Havana.

Disliked: Some rooms have no hot water in shower ( room 410) We had a 26 h delay on the flight into Havana. We had called and told we were delayed. The girl at the reception said it was ok and we had paid for 2 nights anyway , so we agreed to stay 4 nights in total . Be sure to have everthing in written because next person at the reception did not accept this agreement. So in the end we paid for 5 nights and stayed 4 noghts only. Also a friend we travelled with booked a single room for an extra night , but was thrown out next day as they had forgotten , and given room away. So always get everything in written!! Don't trust them. Internet is slow, expensive , and not possible to print out.
