Liked: Its location, its cleanliness, and the staff who serve/work in the dining room for breakfast, especially the wonderful woman who makes omelettes - she was the star of the show and the hotel's greatest asset!

Disliked: The Reception staff members were unhelpful. I booked 2 nights but was subsequently advised that a room was only available for one night which caused havoc on my travel plans. Adding insult to injury (I stayed for one night only), attempts were made to over-charge me given that I had already paid a deposit for 2 nights rather than one. Discussions over what was a straight forward point were prolonged and I nearly missed the ferry back over to Dubrovnik, although a member of hotel staff drove me to the bottom of the steep hill, offering a well-needed helping hand as a result. The hotel is beautiful, the location is spectacular, but the members at Reception should undertake a course in customer care. The staff serving breakfast in the dining room were charming and helpful in the extreme, especially the lady who makes omelettes - what a pity these kind people could not be duplicated in the Reception area...

Liked: Spotless room cleaned daily. Relaxing, romantic and wonderful setting and views. Excellent food in restaurant (but could not eat there every night expensive and a bit OTT but lovely for a couple of nights) however, lunch time salads are massive and plenty for two people to share with the bread provided. Salad, bread couple of beers and water for £12 not bad!

Liked: not only was the hotel well kept, clean and spacious, but the setting was phenomenal. absolutely amazing views, great restaurant, fantastic room.not one single complaint. very definately a 4 star stay.
