Overview

Hotel Kangaroo is a favourite among the travellers that visit Jacó. Its quiet location, chilled out and safe atmosphere make it the perfect place to relax among friends and enjoy the scarlet macaws, toucans’, iguanas and geckos that can be spotted in surrounding the trees and plants.

It is located in the safest and quietest part of Jacó just 80 metres from the beach and the waves. The friendly and helpful owners speak both Spanish and English. The hotel offers a large swimming pool, kitchen and laundry facilities, tv room with cable, internet access, free coffee, surf board rental, free bike loan, a large dining/chill out area next to the pool and free parking. Accommodation starts from just $12 per person.

Accommodation Information

At Hotel Kangaroo all the rooms are spacious and clean. There are dorms for up to 4 people. Double rooms and twin rooms which up to 3 people can share. All rooms have en suite bathrooms and almost all have A/C.
Bed sheets and towels are provided and there are 24hr hot showers.

Hotel Kangaroo is located in one of the safest and quietest parts of Jaco but just 80mt from the beach and a short walk or $2 taxi ride to the busy centre of town. It is also very close to some of the best walking trails in Jacó where you can spot all kinds of animals such as scarlet macaws, tucans, iguanas, white-faced monkeys and lots more!
