Hotel Jaguar

Hotel Jaguar is located at the beach and sets a high standard for Cahuita.

Rooms in several buildings, well-spaced on informal grounds, are extraordinarily large with high ceilings, clerestory windows, white stuccoed walls, red tile floors, wooden louvers, and generous wooden trim. Covered passageways have squares of garden. A number of the design features effectively aid passive cooling without air conditioning. All the buildings are sorrounded by big gardens with tropical flowers and tropical fruit trees where you can watch different animals like Central America Agouti, birds, frogs, sloths and others.

We have two types of rooms :

Suite Room

Treks to the Talamanca mountains, the indian reservation; river fishing and boating excursions can be arranged. Cuisine is excellent. The owners have extensive hotel experience.

The cuisine of the Hotel Jaguar is caracterized by a Caribbean-Italian style with high quality products.

ROOMS

Hotel Jaguar has 38 rooms. The rooms are big with a special passive cooling design with extra large windows, cross ventilation, high ceilings, thermo syphoning roof vents, wooden shutters and thermal isolation. They also include private bath and covered terrace. PARKING: lots of parking space.

RESERVATIONS
In order to confirm the reservation we need you to make a deposit of 30% or to send a credit card number where it will be charged, so we need you to contact the hotel. Your 30% deposit will be refunded only if you cancel the reservation 15 days before.

Accommodation Information

Suite Room: 2 beds queen size or 1 bed queen size and 2 single beds, mini fridge, Cable TV, ceiling fan, coffee maker, private bathroom with hot water, curtains and a table with sits in front of the room.

Standard room: 2 beds queen size, curtains, stand fan, private bathroom with hot water and a table with sits in front of the room.

In the middle of nature you can find a restaurant area and the swimming pool.

Location Information

The hotel is located on Black Beach (Playa Negra) of Cahuita. It is near to Cahuita town and the National Park, from here you can visit the many places like Puerto Viejo, the waterfall, Manzanillo and others.
