Liked: Perfect position. The staff don't speak English but are friendly and helpful. The hotel retains many Art Deco features and has a huge commercial kitchen which I was free to use. I had a quiet room on the third floor and after only booking one night and looking around for a better option as I frequently do in towns on my 2 years of backpacking I concluded that I had the best value option in the area. An opinion confirmed by a rival hostel when I revealed to them the single room price at the Aragon. The facilities are due for a upgrade but kept spotlessly clean and for the price the Aragon is the best value I could find after viewing most of the surrounding hostels in person. Highly recommended if you are seeking a private room rather than a dorm

Disliked: There is not a option to have a room with a private bathroom, only shared is available.

Liked: Great location.

Disliked: This hotel does not have ANY heating. It's extremely cold on a cold night in Bogota. The staff only offered another thin blanket which did not help. They should at least provide an oil heater or some kind of heating.

Liked: This is an ok place to stay for those who want a basic cheap room. Nothing special. It is an older building little dirty and our room smelled of pesticides but for the price it worked. The location is good and the staff was friendly.
