Liked: The room was good, it was clean and tidy. Staff tried very hard to please and were friendly
Disliked: Bed very hard, no assistance for non Chinese speaking guests.

Liked: The hotel is very new and modern and the rooms are very nice. The Airport Express drops of/picks up from their door which is great if you're on a pit stop like me. I think this was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in in China, possibly SE Asia. Very nice rooms and modern bathrooms.
Disliked: They asked for a 500 rmb (almost $100 - my room was only 250rmb) deposit when I checked in (none of this was mentioned on the booking), wifi in the room didn't work, pretty bad location unless you're just going to/from the airport - can't walk to any restaurants or shops (I didn't go to the subway but I think there is a stop close by), all english tv channels were fuzy, and the staff does not have very good english. I live in China and understand and don't expect most to, but they portray themselves as an US joint venture and a business hotel, I expected more.

Liked: The accommodation was good and service was quite good, but the only thing that caused problems was that they had a different price on the website than the price really was because of the Canton Fair. That caused 13 emails back and forth discussing about the price. They finally agreed to give me the room with the price that they had on their website but it wasted a lot of my time. Now they still don't have the new price eventhough this happened. I need a place to stay in the future during the Canton Fair but I need to consider if I want to use their services because of these difficulties negotiating with the price eventhough it was their mistake. And they still haven't corrected it yet after this happens. Otherwise the stay was good but these unfortunate things with the price dropped the value of the stay a bit and made me a bit uncomfortable.
Disliked: Jaakko left no negative feedback.
