About Imperial Courtyard Hotel

Imperial Courtyard, an 18th Century courtyard, having been totally renovated to the highest standards, now combines the beauty of the past with the comforts of today and offers the perfect environment for its guests relaxation and is the ideal accommodation for a “get away from it all” visit to historical and traditional Beijing. The Neoclassical “feel” is apparent in all 16 of the Imperial Courtyard’s luxurious and hospitable rooms. In fact one of the Imperial Courtyard rooms “the Executive Suite” seems to have glided effortlessly and had landed on the roof of the Traditional Hotel Imperial Courtyard. As soon as someone enters the Imperial Courtyard, the feeling of familiarity combined with the unique and luxurious setting, becomes aware that the Imperial Courtyard had been renovated with its guests comfort in mind. you will be charmed and delighted with the simple pleasures of traditional Chinese living coupled with all of the modern amenities and services with the warmth of Chinese hospitality. The courtyard is heated in the winter, the roof a giant skylight. At night, come up to the roof and enjoy the view of Beijing. Then come down to the bar in the courtyard center and mingle with the other guests near the fountain. Or hang out on the second floor, the entire railing doubles as benches.

Accommodation Information

Heating, air conditioning, a wall-mounted flat screen TV and a fully-equipped Western bathroom. Each room is decorated in traditional Chinese style. Furniture is designed in traditional Chinese style. Wallpaper is different in every room but all are ethnic Chinese prints. Each room has beds of a different design. Then there are tea tables so that you can lounge around and drink tea all without stepping foot on the floor, a timeless Chinese tradition.

Location Information

Imperial Courtyard Hotel is located in the bustling downtown commercial street, and convenient transportation. Andingmen close to Metro Line 2 station, surrounded the bus station (special 2,44,800) Road. Surrounding attractions are the Temple of Earth Park, Drum Tower, Bell Tower, Lama Temple, Imperial College, Hou Hai Bar Street, Nan Luo Gu Xiang, and five camps Culture Street. From the Workers Stadium, the International Exhibition Centre, the embassy district, Tiananmen Square, the Olympic Games only 10 minutes. Close to 15 minutes by subway or bus to reach the Oriental Plaza, Wangfujing Street, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Poly Plaza, Workers Stadium and other places. Only a few stops away from Beijing Railway Station, the car 15 minutes. From the airport only 20 minutes. The distances and traffice lines to the Imperial Courtyard from Beijing Railway Station, Beijing West Railway Station and Beijing Capital Airport.

To the Temple of Heaven: take Bus No. 803 at the west gate of the Alter of Earth and get off at the south gate of the Temple of Heaven. (Distance: 13 km)
