Liked: Good situation, near Alameda and Santiago's National Library and Casa de La Moneda. Internet room with three computers 24-hours available. Breakfast dinner room with TV, but not recommended. No elevators, so it's better to travel light otherwise you'll have to ask for help to carry heavy luggage through stairs. No parking possibilitys. Subway station near. Other hostels and internet coffees near. Good quality/price ratio. Very quiet street in the middle of vibrant and busy Santiago.

Liked: Great location, just off biggest street in the city, but you can't see or hear a thing. Three internet terminals often full, but for the price of gum you can have a hour at anyone of the four cybercafes within 100 metres of the hostel. No heating or curtains in my room and the tv had 60 unidentified channels, a guide or listing would be handy to sort out the chaos.Great value for money, although don't expect room service/mini bar, or local info past what the staff know already.
