Liked: Friendly, helpful staff. Great value for the money.

Disliked: My Hostelbookers reservation was not in their system, but the staff worked really hard to help me out. We ended up with a different room than reserved, but it did the trick. If you book through here, call them in addition to verify your reservation. The room was small and a bit hot without any AC and just one window, but you likely wont spent a lot of time in your hotel room in Montreal.

Liked: It was clean and the location was fairly central. We enjoyed our stay overall, however upon arrival they had no record of our reservation that we made through hostelbookers, even though we had received a confirmation email and reservation number. Luckily they had rooms available. Also, we thought that we had booked an apartment suite with two bedrooms for two people, but when we arrived we were told that the price that hostelbookers had quoted us was actually the rate for one person only. We ended up sharing a single room because we were not prepared to pay double what we had expected. There seems to definitely be a huge discrepancy between this hostel and this website....disappointing....the girl ahead of us in line also had a problem with being quoted the wrong price when she booked......a nice facility though, but I would call them directly to book your stay instead of booking through this website.
