Liked: It is more and better than their own description, everybody is going out of their way to make sure every guest is happy and comfortable. Pool is awesome, Food is very good incl. Breakfast is quite vast and big. Location is not in the touristy downtown area but still close and perfect that way

Liked: Thoroughly enjoyed our time here was a really nice hotel and worth the money, the price included breakfast which has 5 different options all very filling from English breakfast/pancakes/rice dishes etc! It's not in the town but offers free tuk tuk rides in and is about 5 minutes away! We had a twin room and was very spacious and clean and liked being able to chill and sunbathe by the pool! Staff were very friendly and welcoming and very useful at helping us plan our stay there! Offered good value tuk tuk services to popular tourist attractions especially Angkor wat and the surrounding ruins. Drivers were always friendly too. Very nice stay and friendly chilled out atmosphere.

Liked: Really lovely building, the swimming pool is a great addition.

Disliked: The only problem I encountered was being understood at reception. I made a few requests (I had a problem with the lighting in my room and I also ordered a breakfast box one morning) and both times it seemed as though the staff understood, but unfortunately the service didn't materialise - this really was quite a minor issue though.

Liked: Very lovely helpful staff, beautiful new pool, nice breakfast, nice garden, beautiful and spacious room, clean... overall a great and friendly place to stay!!

Disliked: Quite out of the way from everything, so even though there is free transfer with tuk-tuk you need to plan to do everything in town at once and not go back/return several times a day.

Liked: I stayed at Golden Mango for 5 nights during my visit to Siam Reap and I found it to be a very pleasant experience. It's amazing value for money - pick up and drop off at the airport for free, computers with internet to use in the lobby, the room was spotless, comfortable bed, air-con that worked properly, TV, fridge, a hot shower and breakfast - all for $17 per night! The staff were so lovely and helpful too. The pool (mentioned in several other reviews) was essentially finished, but it looked like they were also building some smaller pool or something next to it, so there was still construction going on when I was there. The pool was perfectly functional though and looked very pretty, but the sunbeds weren't in the sun and that's what I was after. No problem as they gave me a lift to a nearby hotel, Paradise, where I spent an afternoon at their pool for $5 that was completely empty.

Disliked: It's a 10 minute tuk-tuk ride from the centre of town, so if you're looking for a place where you can pop in and out of your accommodation throughout the day, then this isn't ideal. They do offer a free tuk-tuk ride into town, and it's only $2 back, so I didn't find that it was a problem. Also, even if you're out drinking late, there are tuk-tuk around most of the night, so once again I never found it to be an issue. Additionally, it's a hotel, not a hostel, so if you're travelling alone and looking to meet people at your accommodation, you might want to consider somewhere else. Fairly petty things really for negatives - overall I thought this place was great.

Liked: Extremely friendly staff and very good value for money. Can offer the standard tours around Angkor with reliable drivers. Recommendable restaurants in the hotel and next door.

Disliked: Quite far from the center, but free rides offered. Some staff members speak good English, but often limited understanding - but we never really had any problems in this regard.

Liked: I'm very impressed by Golden Mango Inn and it's staff. This property is positioned as hostel but I consider that it is a good 3 star hotel. Rooms are very clean, meal is tasty and personell is very friendly and ready to help. They are really able to solve all your problems and give valuable advice. You can buy tickets on the boat or bus, hire a driver and so on without leaving a hotel. Hotel is situated not in Siem Reap but close up to it . It won't be a problem because hotel provides a free transfer to the center of the town. As a whole I am very happy that I have chosen this hotel. I write this response in all sincerity because the stay in Mango Inn became a part of my magnificent impressions about Cambodia! Special thanks to Mr.Pehk (tuk-tuk driver)! =)

Liked: We had a lovely welcome after a long tiring journey. Receptionist Wan greeted us, while some others took our bags. We had a delicious welcome drink and refreshing cold towel. Our room was on the ground floor. It was a well kept room, clean and nice to be in. With A/C, TV, 2 double beds, fridge, desk, storage, and ensuite. The restaurant was great value for money and we had most of our dinners here. The staff were all very helpful and always smiling. Close to Angkor via tuk tuk only 20 mins, and free ride into old market with $2 to get back. The free breakfast was also yummy. Free coffee/ tea/ water. Cant rate this place high enough! We had a great stay!

Liked: Friendly welcome & service, free pick-up from airport, nice room with air-con, breakfast included, good food at restaurant, helpful tuk-tuk drivers to take you to the Angkor temples, helped arrange bus transfer to Phnom Penh.

Disliked: Unfortunately, we visited before the pool was due to be finished - it'll be a great addition when it's done though (due to be ready in March I think).

Liked: The staff was absolutely wonderful and always eager to help when you need advice on which temples to visit and what else is there to do in Siem Reap. They have their own pool of drivers which are 100% reliable. The rooms (we slept in two different rooms during our stay) were clean and there even was free wifi + three computers and free coffee/ tea/ ovaltine all day long. Breakfast was fantastic too - actually, I have a work colleague of mine staying there right now who learned about Golden Mango Inn through my recommendation ;)

Liked: Relaxing and peaceful location, delicious and nice restaurant on site, pretty front garden, friendly staff, free computers in the lobby, free tuk tuk rides to the old market and 'downtown' area

Disliked: only a few minor issues- hot water not working (though they were eager to fix), one staff member booking a show for me and i paid through him but this was not communicated to the ticket office and it took awhile to resolve, otherwise it was great

Liked: We chose this hostel because it is out of town as we wanted a peaceful place to relax with the added bonus of a free tuk tuk into town should we wish to visit. We actually extended our stay by 3ntes as everything described about the hostel is as it says. Clean, free tea/coffee, free internet & wifi. Great place to stay and totally recommend.

Liked: The welcome you receive is wonderful - a cold towel and very nice smoothie, along with information about the room and tours on offer. Everyone was extremely helpful and smiley which make you warm to the place instantly. Breakfast was good and the tuk tuk drivers associated with the Inn are fab!

Disliked: Didn't have hot water every day, but they are in the process of building a pool, so that may have something to do with it!

Liked: Fantastic hotel/certainly not a hostel! The staff were exceptionally friendly. The Golden mango is about 3Km out fro the centre of Siem Reap which is brilliant because you can escape the infernal raquet at the centre of town and the free moto ride to the centre is a huge bonus.I cannot reccomend the Golden mango highly enough.It makes this Four star hotel in Kualar Lumpur I am staying in at the moment look like a dump!

Disliked: Not one thing do dislike,Panya,Sian and staff made my stay an absolute Joy.

Liked: Golden Mango Inn is clean, my number one requirement when choosing a place to stay. It offers good service to its guests. The owner is very friendly, attentive, helpful, and speaks fluent English. When I sent an email, he responded quickly and promptly. The staff are nice and friendly. You can buy a bus ticket directly from the hotel, which is very convenient.

Disliked: The location is a bit far from town, but they offer a free one way tuktuk to town. However, this shouldn't be a problem, since the tuktuk driver can wait for you and take you back to the hotel for only $2 a ride.

Liked: We loved this place. The facilities were the best weve stayed in so far and the price for the rooms is very cheap compared to what you get for your money. The owner is a very competent nice man that helps you out with anything. All in all it was the best stay weve had on our vacation so far! The rooms are very clean. Definetely recommend this place and we would love to go there again.

Disliked: Even though the hostel is not so close to the center we think that its not a bad thing. You can get to the center in 5-10 Minutes and the owner provides free tuk tuks into the city. It was especially good to stay there in the rainy season since almost all of Siem Reap Center was flooded but the area around the Golden Mango was dry.

Liked: The crew was very friendly. Helped us out with all our questions (arranged bustickets, tuk tuks etc). The room is large and very clean and has satellite tv and WIFI. The food in their restaurant is also very good.
