Liked: They have free wi-fi and breakfast. The staff there is very friendly and offer lots of tours and services. There is also nice lodge to drink beer and chat and the location is perfect for clubbers!

Disliked: The hostel they promote is a different one. When I arrived to the address they give when you book I found out that it is nothing of what they promote. The building is shabby and they have no internet. The location is 3-4 km from the Old market!!! So it is not 10 minutes at all! The area is scary because there are not so many people. After the receptionist called the owner they said that they would take me to another hostel which is actually described on HBookers. The hostel they moved me in was 10 mins walk from the old market and had everything what is described on the site BUT rooms are more expensive! So the address they give when you book is not the correct one, another hostel they take you is more expensive. Hopefully the day I booked they rated according to the price in the booking but next you have to pay more. They will actually take you to this address: Palm Garden Lodge Map Soksan Street, Svay Dongkum, Siem Reap, Cambodia 855 (not the one in the booking)

Liked: Sophiea is very helpful and friendly along with the rest of the staff! Its halfway between Angkor Wat and the city. Good rates for full day tuk-tuk hire around the temples and really helpful and informative guides. Free tuk-tuk into town in the evenings. Amazing value for money. Really laid back and relaxing place, not the place to party. Perfect for me! Thank you

Liked: staffs and tuk tuk driver are very friendly. the breakfast is made by the staffs by order and it tastes good. it is a bit closer to Angkor Wat than those in downtown, so it is good if you decided to go there by bicycle (about 30 mins) or on foot (about 1.5 hours).

Disliked: computer provided is slow (500Mhz, 512Ram with Windows XP), wi-fi is not stable, hot water is provided but not 24 hours. it is far away from downtown but tuk tuk and bicycles may be all occupied sometime. It is okay if you don't need all these, but if you need this, you may end up paying more than those hostel in downtown. there are many flies in the common area which make me not willing to stay long there. there are many ants in the room. e.g. if you leave your bread on the table, tons of ants will come to get your bread within 10 mins. there is not much information about the downtown or the temples. i can only get a very simple map of siem reap which is not useful. at the last day i have to go to bangkok. they suggest me to take the bus they suggested instead of share taxi. they said that the bus will arrived at bangkok at 3 pm which is the same as by share taxi from siem reap to poipet + bus from aranyaprathet to bangkok, but actually the bus arrived bangkok at 7pm.

Liked: It was pretty and one member of the staff spoke English well. And Mr. Tiger is the best tuk-tuk driver ever!

Disliked: It's too far from town - about half way between angkor temples and the town... I would've liked to be within walking distance of the town.

Liked: The personal is very friendly and helpful. Mr Sitha (tuk-tuk driver) is very honest, punctually and polite man, we can reccomend him to anyone as a driver

Disliked: Good place for those who want to save the money, but if you can spend more than 8 $ per room - I reccomend to find another place. The photo on hostelbookers is the photo of one concrete room, may be renovated. In fact, our room had very old furniture and was not cozy. No a/c, only fan with a great noise. Linen and towel had not very good smell and also was very old. No safebox in the hotel at all. Don't take Apsara dance show in the hotel - there are a lot of restaurants in the city with the same show for free (as a compliment to your dining there)

Liked: I really love this hotel. Everything's perfect. Super friendly Soheia, Vuthy, and other all staffs that I don't remember the name, and good Tuktuk driver Cla and Paal... thanks for everything you did for us :) They also offer free pickup service from bus terminal, free breakfast and also free Tuktuk service to center as well.
