Liked: The room was spacious and, although not facing on to the most picturesque of streets, was quiet at night (some of the other rooms faced out on to the main road and so may have been a bit noisier). The room was well-equipped with desk, mini bar and television, as well as having a full-size bath in the bathroom and ample surface space. Towels were changed daily if necessary and the room was made up every day too. The staff were very friendly and helpful, organising onward buses and day tours of Phnom Penh (the prices were slightly higher than if we had gone elsewhere, but not significantly so given the convenience of being able to book directly with them and be picked up from reception, too). There was also a free breakfast everyday with a large selection of items, including freshly cooked eggs (almost any style you want), fresh fruit and the usual items such as toast, jam, and muesli. The prices in Phnom Penh were generally quite high, but this seemed to be fairly good value for money. I would suggest booking over hotels.com or a similar website as the prices here are considerably lower than the walk-in rates, and if you decide to extend your stay they will most likely give you the lower rate again.

Disliked: The decor was a bit old fashioned, especially considering how modern some of the other Holiday Villas around the world looked, but this shouldn't really be a major factor in influencing your decision to stay here.
