Liked: Great value, if you're looking for a cheap place to stay while you ski there couldn't be many places better. The free minibus service to the slopes makes the hotel's position at the bottom of the town unproblematic, and the staff are friendly and willing to help. The free soup at the end of a day's skiing is a godsend. Recommended.

Disliked: Not an ideal place to meet other travellers, although it is easy to in the bars of Bansko or on the slopes

Liked: This was a good hotel - clean and quiet. It seemed like there were two places to go out in Bansko and it was either the town centre or the Gondola base. This hotel is within walking distance of the main town centre, and about a 5 minute drive from the Gondola base.The hosts were very friendly. They have a ski drop-off service in the morning, and a pick-up service in the afternoon. When you return to the hotel they have a hearty soup and afternoon tea prepared. That was a pleasant surprise. Also, a good filling breakfast to get you ready for a day on the slopes.

Liked: in the summer season the room you get for your money is more than worthwhile! Our dubble room was some sort of suite. Breakfast is a delight for those not on a diet :)
