Liked: Enjoyed our stay. Good breakfast, our tour guide Puma through hostel agency was fantastic, nice chill out areas, met good people there

Disliked: Staff in tour agency could be more proactive in providing general information and accommodating where possible what guests want to do and see.

Liked: Very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were lovely and varied. The food was always fresh and in abundance. Very relaxing experience and would recommend to anyone

Liked: The fact that an employee picks you up at the bus stop.

Disliked: It's a kind of tourist trap. The Lonely Planet recommends it highly so they have a steady inflow of guests, which leads to the fact that things aren't always maintained that well.

Liked: It´s a really nice space and private rooms are affordable. The breakfasts are fantastic with great home baked breads, yogurt, granola, and fruit. It´s a very peaceful place, and is close to everything. The walk is not very far and Lencois is very safe. They also offer excursions through the hostel. Very nice!

Liked: Pousada dos Duendes is a great place to stay. The whole layout and decoration of the pousada makes for a great place to chill and meet with other travelers. They even accepted us in off the night bus from Salvador at no extra charge. Amazing buffet breakfast and the meals at night are great too. H20 travel agency is also great. Very easy to organise all your trips around Lencois. Friendly and helpful staff. We highly recommend staying here.

Liked: The pousada had a great vibe; wonderful food, the included breakfast and optional dinner; lot's of helpful information to make the most of the stay; great rooms; and most of all, extremely hospitable, informative, accomodating, and simply sweet staff, including Toni, Erica, and Gina. Muito obrigada!

Disliked: The only downfall is that it is located on the opposite end on the village as the bus stop and center,... But truthfully, it is a village and when I was free of my backpack it was an enjoyable walk, even at night.

Liked: The staff were awesome, super helpful and friendly. Breakfast is amazing, huger with loads of choices (fruit, bread, pastries, crepes....endles!). You can reserve a tour through them and although it might not be the cheapest, the guides are very profesional and you get a packed lunch that is pretty tasty.

Disliked: Only maybe that its a bit far from the center...

Liked: Great Hostel to see the National park. Staff were really helpful arranging tours and suggesting alternatives. One of the best breakfasts i had during my hosteling in Brazil!

Liked: I would recommend this hostel overall. Staff are a little morose, but not unhelpful. It´s a little far from town, but it´s a small place, so not too much of a problem.Dorm beds are really comfy! The room would benefit from a fan though.

Liked: one of the best hostels i've ever been at! just one word: WOW!breakfast is great, staff is more than friendly and they are very good english speakers. they offer all the tours to the chapada diamantina for good prices.the rooms are brilliant and very comfortable. internet is available.i'd definitely reccommend this hostel!! absolutely a place to come back some day! so go there!! you'll enjoy it!

Liked: A good place to meet people. Very friendly and helpful staff. We found the place a little noisy at night and it´s definitely one for the younger age group but so long as you know that it´s absolutely fine.

Liked: The owner, Olivia and her staff are fantastic. They organise everything u could possibly want to do.The breakfast was incredible. Really diverse mix of food.The layout of the hostel with hammocks and lazy chairs was a great place to meet people

Liked: Excellent staff - especially Olivia. She's awesome - full of energy and ideas of what to do. and how. Best of all is her relationship with the local guides - she gets the best ones, and doesn't rip them or you off!
