Liked: The Hotel is 5 minutes walk to the city centre. There is the possibility to park the car for free right in front of the hotel.

Disliked: Nothing remarkable, only two minor notes: the double room was instead a twin room (with twin beds) and there is no shower curtain in the bathroom.

Liked: Being newly renovated, looks new everything.

Disliked: A lot of noise from construction works next door. Hotel staff seems very uninterested.

Liked: Located at 5-10 minutes from the old town. The hotel is located in hill with nice old muslim cementeries and mosquees around.

Disliked: It is not far from the old town but it is a little bit difficult to find it by your own.

Liked: The room - a private dbl - we booked was actually in the "hostel" house rather than the hotel (though right next door) and did not include some of the things listed (TV, for instance) but they discounted it for us appropriately. Everybody was nice and helpful. The shared bathroom was clean. The location is 2 minutes max from Bascarsija on foot.

Disliked: We forgot to bring something with an alarm (a phone for instance) so we asked for a wake up call one night for the next morning in order to catch an early tram. The wake up call never came but we made it anyway. Small potatoes, as they say. Everything else was very pleasant.

Liked: The reception was very pleasant and helpful - they gave us a wonderful tour to the Tunnel of Hope/Life, which I highly recommend as a Sarajevo activity. Her explanations and reliving of the conflict helped us understand so much more than visiting the city alone, and she went above and beyond to give us some treats from a local bakery, and watch videos on YouTube with us for further information. They also took care of the car while we stayed there for free, which seemed important in the city.

Disliked: Very difficult to find, and the limited directions given on HostelBookers don't help. Fortunately the people of Sarajevo are very friendly and helpful. When we finally got to Hotel Telal, they told us we were booked at their sister property, the Hotel Hayat. When we walked to Hayat, they said that they had a hostel and a hotel, but that they would put us in the hotel for the same price. The room they gave us was in the top floor, and had a ceiling so sloped that you couldn't stand to take a shower or use the toilet. However, it had skylights with amazing views over the city that completely made up for it.

Liked: Close to old town, 24 hr reception, good price for location.

Disliked: Some work needs to be done on the plumbing. Noticed a few water marks and leaks. Hotel is directly opposite a mosque so you are woken pretty early by the call for prayer. Bring your earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Disliked: We arrived on Saturday and left on Tuesday. We had booked a double bed, but got two single beds. As we asked about it in the reception, they said the hotel is full and they do not have rooms with double beds left. The heating was off from Monday to Tuesday and also on Monday morning breakfast included only coffee. We felt that as the hotel went queit after weekend, they just did not bother about us. Passports where kept in an open place, behind the receptionicst.

Liked: Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The location is ideal for exploring the old town and city centre, and the accommodation was spotlessly clean. Excellent value in all respects.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike. We would certainly stay here again.

Liked: Nice and clean with towels and bedding provided and TV in the room. Just like a hotel but for a hostel price - it was good to take a break from the hostel lifestyle and have your own space.

Disliked: ıf you dıd want to meet other people ıt was very dıffıcult as wıth most hotels. Staff were also not well ınformed on tours and tourıst ınfo despıte stockıng the brochures but were wıllıng to call for us when asked to.
