Liked: Very nice modern and clean hotel with good location a bit outside the centre but with auite a few restaurants and bars nearby in a very safe area to walk around at night as well. Reception staff very nice and helpful. Helped organise reasonably priced taxi transport to Samaipata.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: The Hotel is litle way out of the main city square but 2 blocks from Cine Center (complex with shops, movie theatre, & eataries). Taxi is less then 10 min and between (8-15 BOB) to the city centre. It is across from main stadium. Its in a fairly quite, nice and safe area of town. Good breakfast and nice facilities. Friendly and helpful staff.

Disliked: Nothing really.

Liked: Modern hotel which makes you feel like you are not in Bolivia! We got up-graded to a junior suite, room had big double bed, air con, widescreen t.v, good shower with hot water and wifi access. Great buffet breakfast in the morning. Will definitely stay there again.

Liked: A great place to catch your breath for a couple of days with all the mod cons, the place is really new and nice, the staff are great and its walking distance from the Plaza, right accross the road from the football statuim.Seems to cater for a lot of business people so not a super social place, but perfect if you want a good nights sleep in good beds with nice bathrooms etc.

Liked: Comfortable beds, modern air conditioning, free shampoo and conditioner.

Disliked: We ordered pizza and the base was doughy and underdone. Expected a better breakfast buffet for the price of the room, the only hot food was eggs and they were supposed to be soft boiled but were badly underdone. Some of the staff in the breakfast dining room looked bored and were just about falling asleep. Our private double room was clean, however the common areas of the hotel were dirty. The glass doors were smeared with hand prints, floors were dirty on the 2nd level and there were things like bed bases lying around by the lifts. The tv wasn´t as big as it appears on the website and has quite a tinny and cheap sound.

Liked: We stayed here for 3 nights in December ´09. After arriving from Sucre on a death-defying 15 hour bus trip, we decided we needed somewhere nice to relax and LP was No1 on tripadvisor we noticed. Although not in our budget, this was a lovely hotel (built 2009) for $50US for the room per night and had air-conditioning by remote control, LCD TV wall-mounted with cable TV and pristine sheets and bathroom. Just what we needed after our journey to Santa Cruz and the heat and humidity there. It is a very modern edifice with white walls, tiles and glass so not typical Bolivian if that´s what you´re after. Luis, the manager, and Claudia spoke perfect English and could not have been more helpful, even ordering us pizza´s when we didn´t want to venture out and helping us call to arrange onward flights and look on the net. The hotel is in a nice area near a plaza and air-conditioned cinema and food court and 5 or 10 in a taxi to the main square or the train station. Recommended.
