Liked: Good rooms for the price, recently redone.

Disliked: Stairs could not be used due to work on site, this could lead to a bad situation in case of an emergency.

Liked: Location, en suite room with nice shower and great views (6th floor). Tv and bedding all great quality.

Disliked: Room was facing the road and can be a bit loud during the evening.

Liked: - located near the railway and bus station and Grand Place (5-10 min on foot); - amazing viev from the room (we lived at the6 floor); - frendly 24h-working stuff; - good breakfast (typical for such hotel - coffe, bread, cheese and so one); - toilet and shover in room, clean and wide

Disliked: as a note, not a claim: hotel accept credit cards only with chip (which aren't in wide use in Russia), so if you don't have such, you need to have a cash.

Liked: The property is in the middle of renovations. Our en-suite bedroom was clean, quiet and beautifully done. The entry was not yet renovated, but hopefully that will soon be on the order. The one-man hotel staff we met was friendly and helpful.

Disliked: The entry smelled of cat litter, something I hope will be taken care of as it is not a very welcoming odour.

Liked: Location is very good. About 5minutes to manneken pis by walk.And a small room but clean and pretty.my room is red wall like some smart hotel.i like it.

Disliked: Entrance is very cheaply and old.Sink is soooo tiny. I can't wash my face without leak out water.

Liked: This hotel is a little tired on the outside and the reception/dining room is a rather underwhelming welcome but never judge a book by it's cover. After riding the rickety lift to the 6th floor we were pleasantly surprised by our room which offered great views of the Brussels 'skyline'. Obviously recently refurbished, they've done a great job with limited space. The bathroom, whilst a little cramped still offered a great size shower with fantastic water pressure and towel heaters for a handy touch. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept on albeit coupled with quite awful pillows, only a minor complaint. Breakfast was substantial, offering a selection of pastries, breads, rolls, cereal, cheese and condiments. Believe it or not, the coffee from the machine was actually beautiful! Overall, a fantastic budget option in central Brussels offering great value for money and only a 5 minute walk from all the city has to offer.

Disliked: Only minor complaints: - No cold meats offered with the cheeses at breakfast - The bathroom a little cramped, especially when using the toilet squeezed into the corner or washing your hands in the unusually small and shallow basin. - Wifi only available in the reception/dining room - Bag storage area behind reception stunk of petrol for some reason. Again these are only minor complaints and wouldn't change my recommendation of the property.

Liked: the location is excellent...centrally located and very well connected by public transport...breakfast was very good and plenty....we stayed in a double bed room...room was spacious as was the bathroom...we were lucky to have a room in the 5th floor with a nice view through the window...staff were very friendly and informative.

Disliked: the elevator was too small

Liked: Only the location.

Disliked: Rooms heater including water heaters were not working due to a electrical defect. It was 4 degrees!!! The only reason we stopped over for a nite in Brussels after our trip to Brugge was to have a proper rest and have a good hot shower before heading for our next flight.... We had to have cold shower. Staff cannot think of any alternatives. No hot kettles to boil water as well. We saw a few cats running all over the breakfast tables and near the juice bar. Without much thought, we decided not to have the complimentary breakfast! The whole lobby and the dining area which is just next to each other had a very bad smell...cats urine! The hotel gave about 5 euro discout after we asked for it and the staff mentioned that they will give us a better discout next time...we all told him that definitely there won't be a next time!!! Overall, an awful experience!!!

Disliked: A very narrow staircase, it is difficult to pass with backpacks, especially when the elevator is not working.

Liked: Without the builders the place is probably OK. The location is its best feature - nice and central.

Disliked: Mirabeau would have been OK except that Mr Mirabeau neglected to inform me that he had the builders in. His builders were hard working chaps and did not clock off till 11.00 pm. Yes, you read that right. PM. Power tools and nails guns sung me to my rest. The air was flavoured with a fine cement dust. And then there was that matter of the trailing power cord snagging the lift door. . . Mr Mirabeau seemed unpeturbed by all of this, as well as in asking for, and accepting, the full fee.

Liked: Beautiful room included everything what we needed, very nice breakfast, friendly staff and the hotel is just by metro station in the centre of Brussels.

Liked: Breakfast was very good and plenty. The reception was open 24h. The staff was very nice and helpfull.

Disliked: I booked a double bed room and I received a room with twin beds imposible to sleep in with another person..and couldn't change the room anymore because there were no other room available as the owner told us... The lobby where you take your breakfast has no heat..so you freeze while you eat..

Liked: we got a new room, completely renovated, on the last floor. Very nice. the breakfast was good.

Disliked: The renovation of the hotel... you can hear it at 7 in the morning... the atmosphere at the first glance is a bit not nice, but finally everything was ok! good room for the low price.
