Liked: Breakfast was very good and plenty. The reception was open 24h. The staff was very nice and helpfull.

Disliked: I booked a double bed room and I received a room with twin beds imposible to sleep in with another person..and couldn't change the room anymore because there were no other room available as the owner told us... The lobby where you take your breakfast has no heat..so you freeze while you eat..

Liked: The staff were great! Even thought they were under renovation it was a wonderful place to stay. Very safe. Breakfast was yum!

Disliked: Lift was a bit dodgy-only a slight complaint

Disliked: I felt a bit unsecure and heating did not work, when I went down to reception I heard that they simply cannot do anything about it, only solution was extra blanket Besides that, it is close to a big street so rooms are very noisy

Liked: we got a new room, completely renovated, on the last floor. Very nice. the breakfast was good.

Disliked: The renovation of the hotel... you can hear it at 7 in the morning... the atmosphere at the first glance is a bit not nice, but finally everything was ok! good room for the low price.

Liked: Fantastic location! Just next to a metro station, about 5 minutes walk from La-Grand Place.

Disliked: The hotel is quite old and needs renovation.

Disliked: DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!! I had my iPod stolen by someone on the staff, and when I requested the help of the management to locate it, they completely ignored my request. I cannot stress this strongly enough -- do not stay at this hotel!!!!! They could not have been less immature and unprofessional about the incident.

Liked: The location, and most aspects were satisfactory - several were not.

Disliked: When I arrived they told me there was a mistake with my booking and they had to "shift some things around" to ensure I could get the type of room I had reserved. They then put me in a room with an ensuite but no toilet in the ensuite (I paid for a full ensuite), my toilet was external so I had to leave my room and go down the corridor to use it. The tap was not in full working order and often spat water so that washing hands was a messy experience. The shower did not have a shower head so I was practically showering under a tap. The elevator was not in full working order.

Liked: It is very easy to find, close to the tram station. There are restaurants,fast food places and small kiosks ver close in the area. The staff is friendly. Nice breakfast.

Disliked: It is a bit uncharming. The rooms are pretty isolated from each other, the hotel does not offer any natural interaction between the guests. But the again it is a hotel and not a hostel, so the rooms are rooms and not dorms! The atmosphere is a bit depressing, dark and quiet with very narrow stairways and corridors.

Liked: It was cheap, and well-located near a Metro Stop. Less than a 10 minute walk to the Grand Place, and located right next to a really chill beer pub with 45 Belgian brews on tap. Once we got our bearings it was pretty clear that we were staying in a very cheap but still adequate spot in a really pretty good location.

Disliked: Located right across a plaza from the central Belgian welfare main office mid-rise, which gives the place a Soviet-Bloc feel. Walk from Gare du Midi was scary-bad (a gang fight in progress, chickens eating from piles of garbage on the road). Room was falling apart, literally- chunks of plaster fell from the ceiling periodically. Credit card machine was broken during whole stay, they kept promising it would be fixed; but had to run out morning of departure and find an ATM before our EuroStar trip to pay cash for the stay. Tried to overcharge me 30 Euro too, until I showed HostelBookers booking receipt. Overall an okay place to crash in a convenient location, but not really anything to write home about.

Liked: Fresh bread at breakfast - but listerning to loud indians talk put me off my food

Disliked: DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL - I can not believe that this hotel is even allowed to be on hotelbookers - it is horrible! lift not working, smelly room, door/window would not close and had to listen to trafic all night, carpen and bathroom filthy. At breakfast the noisy Indian owners were loudly talking and would just not shut up! WiFi DID NOT WORK

Liked: This place was a good spot to stay for the night in Brussels. The staff were helpful when I asked for information and the room was very clean. Literally 20m from the metro!

Disliked: The surrounding neighbourhood wasn't that great from first glance and was very noisy (when the window was open). However, I didn't venture out too far so I don't really have much of an opinion on it.
