Liked: Location. We had a big ensuite bathroom for our triple room.

Disliked: - The staff were unhelpful. We arrived early in the morning and it was very cold. We asked if the heat could be put on and they said no. We asked for heating again in the evening and again they wouldn't turn it on. We had to make do with a large extra smelly blanket. - There was a cat meowing in distress repeatedly in a room just off from Reception room/breakfast room. It was quite distressing to hear this cat in some sort of distress, I enquired what the problem with the cat might be and they just said it was fine. - I called up the day before to see about amending the booking, from a triple to double room and was told to email in. I explained that my query was urgent, I emailed in as requested. No one replied. I emailed in again and again was ignored. This was an urgent query which was not dealt with at all let alone in a prompt fashion.

Liked: Rooms were basic and clean. Breakfast was minimal. The lift was slow but functional. Location was good, near Midi train station and Grand Place, easily accessible.

Liked: Rooms were spacious, good value for your money. We got a private 3 bed room with a bathroom for 45 euro for 2 nights.

Liked: Very close to city center and Grand Place

Disliked: They don't operate the heaters even we told them to do, I have stayed there on 19th January 2013, it was -6 degrees outside.

Liked: Perfect serviice! I was with my little sister in foreing country along, our parents were afraid of! But when i found my booked hotel and see so kindly staff, i was't worry about staying in Brussels!) it is real fact! Our staff explained clearly everything what we asked him! Them i can say about location, It is good for guests, the nearest shopping centre, square, all stations! In addition, the price is acceptable! )) I Really enjoy my trip in Brussels!

Liked: in a refurished room which was ok but with cheap fittings that clearly won't last. good (if rather shabby) location for grand-place and metro

Disliked: rather minimal breakfast. cramped rooms, but enough considering you only sleep there. didn't feel terribly secure, no room safes for instance.

Liked: The staff was nice and helpful. They provided us a city map and showed all the places that we can see in the city.

Disliked: Half of the hotel is under construction because they were restorating the hotel. This was unexpected for us because we did not know about this until we arrive there. But they gave us a room that is new and we did not hear any construction sound so that was nice.

Liked: The newly renovated rooms are nice and tasteful.

Disliked: The renovation is being continued on the lower floors; the elevator does not feel very safe, though it works fine.

Liked: The room has really good conditions. The room and toilet was so clean and new.. Also the room's furnitures are nice! Breakfest is not so bad!

Disliked: Staffs are really strange.. And the entrance of the hostel is soo bad! The bad side of this hostel is only atmosphere! But it is not important because we went Brussels for visiting and stayed here just for sleep!

Liked: The location is very very good. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is very good.

Disliked: The room is really small and noisy and the staircase is very narrow

Liked: Room was clean, good size, comfortable bed, cheap, great location.

Disliked: Certain staff members very rude and unhelpful, others were lovely though. Dining room come reception are was clean enough but could have done without the cat running around the place, left a very funny smell. Few unsavoury guests that clearly live there (eg the drunk woman wandering around reception shouting at nothing at 9am), seems to be some kind of hotel/doss house.

Liked: Nice atmosphere as staff very friendly and helpful with information and free map. Good location for sight seeing, restaurants and bars. Room better than I expected, as it was bigger and quite newly refurbished in light airy style. Beds were comfortable and bathroom clean with great shower. Very good value for the money.

Disliked: Unfinished building work and hanging wires a bit disconcerting outside room. More croissants needed at breakfast as sometimes choice was limited.

Liked: It definitely had character, but the type only some people can appreciate. Don't come here expecting a hotel experience.

Disliked: It was hilariously bad, from the mouldy bathroom to the electrical sockets hanging out of the walls. The floor was dirty and the bed was old. But I actually enjoyed my stay, the place has a charm which is difficult to put down.

Liked: l'emplacement est proche à la fois du centre et de la gare du midi à pied.

Disliked: l'ascenseur pour monter au cinquième étage qui est étroit (2personnes max) et pas très propre.

Liked: The staff was extremely nice and the location was almost perfect - you only have to walk a few minutes to get to the Grand Place and the metro station is right next to the hotel as well. The interior design of the rooms was playful and we enjoyed it.

Disliked: The internet only worked in the lobby and was a bit slow.
