Liked: Great location and very friendly staff!

Disliked: I could imagine that it gets pretty noisy in the summer, but then again, the location really makes up for that.

Liked: Next to the Grand Place and the Central Station. Cheap. Great room. Nice breakfast.

Disliked: Staff not friendly, just polite. It is definitely a HOtel, not a HOStel.

Liked: It has a great location in the center of Brussels, less than a 5 minute walk from the Grand Place and local bars.

Disliked: It was much smaller than advertised and the rooms were just average quality. It appeared more like a hostel than a hotel.

Liked: Great location. Close to train station and you look down on Grand Place. Nice bright room with windows/door that opens fully

Disliked: Bathroom floor sticky. Hair all over floor. Bed not made properly.

Liked: The location is perfection, you can't be much more central and so close to the Centraal station

Disliked: The service was pretty bland, the room was anything but 'modern' as described and the bathroom wasn't really all that clean. We're honestly not fussy travellers, we're budget travellers who never expect 5 star facilities from the hotels we choose to stay at but we won't compromise on cleanliness and helpfulness of staff, two let downs of The Moon. We we're glad to be only staying one night.

Liked: The location of this hotel was ideal, right across the street from the central station made it the perfect base from which to explore Belgium. The cental location also meant that it was close to all amenities like restaurants etc. The staff were friendly and helpful and are present in the reception 24hrs which adds to the safety and security of the guests. I didn't try the breakfast so I can't comment on that. Overall, I'd say reasonable for the price.

Disliked: Since this hotel is located in one of the oldish buildings in the city's centre, there's no lift/elevator which is a little inconvenient if you have a lot of, or heavy luggage. Being in the city centre also had a downside in that central Brussels can be a 'lively' (diplomatic way of saying noisey) city at night, especially in the summer months. Unfortunately, a bit of noise does tend to filter into the room.

Liked: This hotel is in the best location in Brussels. The room is clean and tidy. It is a little bit hard to find but otherwise it is really good value for money.

Liked: Location was great, however not for everyone because it was very noisy until 4 am in the morning. (it was saturday nigth!)

Disliked: Internet connection was only available in the kitchen which was very very small.

Liked: It was in a central location and very near to the train station.

Disliked: The room was very small. The entrance and communal areas weren't very welcoming or tidy. There was a lot of noise at night and music in the morning.
