About Jacobs Hotel

Jacobs hotel is centrally situated in a quiet and picturesque area of medieval Bruges. The ‘Markt’ and ‘Burg’ places and all other places of interest, are within walking distance.
Behind the traditional gabled façade, you will discover a hotel with all modern comfort.

Accommodation Information

All 24 hotel rooms have private facilities with shower/toilet, hairdryer, cable-TV, direct telephone line. The spacious breakfast room, a peaceful lounge and a cozy bar will help you to relax during your stay in Bruges.

Location Information

Jacobs Hotel is located on Baliestraat 1, in the historical center of Bruges. We are 5 minutes walk from the central square - Grote Markt.

All of Bruges' attractions are easily accessible by foot or by bicycle. These attractions include Burg and Markt squares, Belfort tower, churches, museums, etc.

If you like shopping, there are numerous shops in the city center: Zuidzandstraat, Steenstraat, Wollestraat, etc. which are only a few minutes walk away.

There are numerous pubs, beer houses and restaraunts nearby which offer a vast choice of local cuisine and an extensive selection of belgian beers.

Places worth visiting include the Belfort tower with stunning views of the city, Basilica of the Holy Blood, which reputedly contains Christ's blood brought back from the Crusades, the Church of Our Lady at Vrouwekerkhof Zuid and many more. De Halve Maan brewery at Walplein 26 is best place to try the Brugse Zot beer. A classic must do is the canal boat tour. You will get to places in Bruges you can't get to when walking around. There are 5 boat companies in the center of the city: on Huidenvettersplein, Rozenhoedkaai, Wollestraat, Gruuthusestraat and Kathelijnestraat.
