Liked: The place is beautiful!! Staff were very friendly, free towels, tv in the room, complementary breakfast was satisfying, and it was right across the tram station! Plus, we only booked a room for 2 people and got upgraded to a private 3 person room because there were no other bookings.

Disliked: Nothing! Incredible value for the price

Liked: The period architectural features in public rooms downstairs, including the 1930s addition used for breakfast, are definitely worth seeing. The fact that breakfast is included in the price of the room, and had plenty of choice, was a definite plus. The friendliness of the owners and feeling that you were getting a more personal service than at most hotels was another important aspect. Although it is not in the center of the city, it is within 100m of several tram routes, at least two of which go directly to the city center and run every 10 minutes or so. It's also within easy walking distance of the main art museum, although this is presently closed for renovations and won'r reopen until 2017 (?).

Disliked: This is not a dislike, but a warning to others that the amenities are not always what you might expect, especially those coming from the U.S. For instance, there was no lift (elevator), and it was a long way up to our room with a couple of reasonably heavy bags. Not all rooms are en suite, and the fittings in the bathrooms would be considered below average by many US visitors. However, everything was clean and worked properly, and it made a nice change from the impersonality of many hotels.

Liked: Location. I came in car and found the place very easily. Parking just outside (if you are lucky)

Disliked: Dirty room, filth on the bed blanket, filth and dust on the wash basin and area around, no toilet and no shower on my floor

Liked: Lovely building, the breakfast room was especially stunning. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is located near the museum quarter - 10 minute walk however you will need to get a tram/bus to the center - 5 minute journey.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: For the price excellent! Not really a hostel but a cheap hotel, when i say cheap i mean in price only, the hotel itself is great. Staff really nice too.

Liked: A very friendly and cosy hotel with a breathtaking art nouveau lobby and breakfast hall. It is so amazing that you just feel like staying there and read or play board games (offered). My room was small and pretty basic but reasonable if we take into account that this is a one-star hotel. The location is excellent, museums and bars just minutes away and the old town is in walking distance. Contrary to the information on the website, they do have free wifi in the whole building.

Liked: It had some of the most beautiful Art Nouveau features I had ever seen. Staff were extremely friendly, and our room and shared bathroom were simple but very clean. Breakfast was fantastic value for money and it was close to some great bars and restaurants.

Disliked: Our room was at the top of the building, up six flights of very steep stairs which was pretty exhausting as the building doesnt have a lift.

Liked: Extremely beautiful and great alue for money. Clean. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms were very comfortable and close to toilets. Sink in the room was helpful.

Disliked: Was given a room on the highest flloor and had to climb six flights of stairs to get to my room
