Liked: Great location - really simple quick bus ride into the main centre of Salzburg. Hotel is very close to where the train dropped us off from Germany and to the main bus station which was really helpful. Room was clean and big with enough space.

Liked: The Hotel was nice, but no the first night we were moved to an alternative hotel, due to overbooking. This was a little annoying.

Liked: it was quite spacious. was clean. staff was friendly. they included breakfast. location was quite good... but the ground floor to get to the hotel was a bit dark and run down. then you get to the hotel - which is brightly lit and modern. overall will recommend to anyone

Liked: Upon arrival to Hotel Evido, we found that the reception desk was closed and the hotel was locked. There was a sign instructing us to call a phone number to get the code to a lock box so that we could retrieve our room key. Our cell phones dont work in Europe, so we had to go to a call shop to call and get the code. Then when we returned to the hotel after making the call, the front door to the whole building was shut and locked and we had no way of even accessing the building. Fortunately the friendly call shop owner had a key to a back door to the building and we were able to make it in. This was extremely irritating and frustrating to deal with. The breakfast buffet was good with a lot to offer, and the room was nice and clean.

Liked: Definitely not a hostel atmosphere, but a great hotel nonetheless. The building looks like an office from the outside but the rooms have recently been redone and are extremely nice. We had cable TV but could not get the internet to work. One of the most impressive breakfast spreads I have seen in Europe. A few minutes walk from the train station and maybe 10-15 to downtown Salzburg. This was a great hotel, definitely stay here for a nice place in Salzburg!

Liked: for our purpose-a stop off point between destinations-the location was perfect, literally minutes from the station. as well as this it didnt take us long to get into the Altstadt and Mirabell gardens.the staff couldnt have been more helpful, allowing us to use their phone to make urgent calls and prolonging our checkout time to coincide with our train times.if you are looking for a hotel with a lot of character this is not for you but it is incredibly clean, modern, convenient and good value for money!
