Liked: It was nice for Christmas.

Disliked: They switched prices on me after I changed rooms. I had asked if I could stay another week. They said yes for the same price. But 70 euros for Dec. 31, and Jan. 1. And they would switch my lugage. It was a lot, but I needed conveniece because I wasn't feeling well. When I came back to the hotel that evening, it was dark, I was tired, and just wanted to get into a room. They told me I'd have to pay even more. 62 euros, because, they didn't have to pay Hostel Bookers the commission, I would pay it to them. I said okay. My things were in the room and I couldn't go on much longer.

Liked: The cat in the hotel and the wonderful seats and art on the walls. Very beautiful hotel inside.

Liked: Loved my stay, room was lovely - had a little balconey and the staff were great. Breakfast was provided and was great.

Disliked: Too much noise - could not sleep at night - loads of road noise and road works going on.

Liked: This is 100% a hotel not a hostel, no meeting other travellers here, but that said, its an excellent quiet nights sleep. The staff were accomodating and helpful even if the english is a bit broken. Breakfast is good but not worth 15euro so if you can opt out, I would since its just yogurt, breads and cereals. Also, there is a cat that lives on site, so if you're allergic, be careful as he is in the reception area and breakfast room. I think overall you might be able to do better in Salzburg if you're young especially at Soho. This place is for rest and clean private bathrooms!

Liked: Great hotel, good location, but when you get to the bus stop is more like 50m (not 10m) keep walking the way the bus continued. Fabulous breakfast.

Liked: Nice and friendly staff. I got a complimentary bottle of sparkling water in my room, probably since it was very hot that day. I thought it was a very nice attention.The breakfast buffet is fantastic and the room was nice for the price. I would definitely go back again.

Liked: The staff speak excellent English and are very friendly. Its quite a way out from the old town but the number 1 bus picks you up and drops you off almost straight outside the hotel.

Liked: breakfast and location. Really good breakfast for the value. just 3 bus stops away from carajanplatz where the old town is located as well as the festung hohensalzburg. The bus stop is actullay in front of the hotel. Besides, a penny market is nearby.

Liked: The hotel was so charming, and the breakfast buffet (which was included in the price) was DELICIOUS! Definitely get up in the morning and eat on the patio if it's nice weather. Although we requested an 11am check-in, the room wasn't available until 2pm. However, the staff was very kind - they secured our bags, allowed to freshen up in the hotel, gave us maps, and even looked up mass times so we could attend Easter Sunday services. Even though it is a little ways outside of old town Salzburg, the neighborhood is very pleasant, safe, and great for a springtime walk. An excellent stay!
