Liked: It was adequate and clean.

Disliked: Upon entering the reception I noticed an overpowering stench of cigarette smoke. I was told clearly that there is no smoking in the rooms, that a "smoking room" is available if I need to smoke. When I went into my room it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke too, so clearly many people have been disobeying the rules. I opened both the windows to try to air the room out a little, but the person in the next room was smoking out the window. I informed reception but not sure if they did anything about it. Also it is located quite a long way from the city centre so very inconvenient. Basically it's the pits. I can't recommend it. I'd suggest if visiting Linz find a proper hotel unless you want to sleep in an ashtray!

Liked: The only cheap accomodation available in Linz. Friendly staff. Breakfast included.

Disliked: The reception is closed at night and we had to go to the neighbouring hotel to get into the building - a bit annoying at 3am in a very cold weather.

Liked: The rooms were clean. The location is easy to get to by public transport.

Disliked: I didn't like that there wasn't Internet as advertised. I had work to do, and wasn't able to because of this. Staff were unhelpful and simply put their hands in the air. One suggested to go to the lobby of another hotel and use their wifi. Another suggested I pay to hire one of their wireless modem. At 8:15 on a Sunday morning room cleaning entered my room. I didn't have the do not disturb sign on, but didn't think I needed to so early (I was going to leave by 9am). I repeatedly yelled not to come in, but the cleaner came in anyway. I stood there naked while she laughed at me, closed the door and then I could hear her talk and laughing to the other cleaner outside. Embarrassing and frustrating. The girl at the front counter told me I should have had the do not disturb sign on regardless of the time. On my first day I asked staff for help / information in regards to using public transport to get to the hotel after midnight. They told me that they were unable to help, and that I should talk to the people at the Ars Festival where I was going.

Liked: The room was hotel quality. The breakfast was good and included in price. It was really easy to get to the railway station and the city centre by tram.

Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: not far from tram and train station.

Disliked: We asked for a private double and got a triple share. The "wifi corner' is sitting in the breakfast room trying to share with their partner hotel across the street. The only weay we got any signal was sitting on the side of the road. Breakfast room floor was filthy and so were the windowsills, full of bugs. Room smelled of cigarettes when we arrived, had to keep the window open.The shower was a detachable head in a bath, but it was positioned so you were facing the width of the bath instead of down the length, very hard to manouvre.

Liked: It was not too expensive and it is quite easy to get to the city center by tram

Disliked: It's an old building, slightly ugly, but it definitely is clean.

Liked: Clean big rooms, good en-suite services.

Disliked: Not a hostel so much as a hotel with price to match. A long way from the town centre, not an especially pleasant walk late at night - going under unlit motorway area etc.

Liked: Everything was very good, except second night of our stay, when one drunk Englishman was trying to get into our apartment at 4 a.m. :)

Liked: The only two issues I can recall is the fact that the reception closes at 23h, so if you are not aware you might need to sleep at the reception until someone arrives at 06h, and the breakfast is only until 09h30 (it could be for an extra hour or so)
