About Alpenblick

Hotel Alpenblick is a friendly hotel which enjoys one of the best locations in Bad Gastein, with fantastic view over the valley and the Alps. It also caters for Winter sports and all year round recreation, as well as having a thermal spring and swimming pool set in it's beautiful landscaped garden.

Location Information

Those who like comfort can ride in the horse-drawn carriage. At any rate, travelling this way brings you to a height of 1200 m.

The Gastein Valley between Dorfgastein and Sportgastein offers a variety of hikes or mountain climbs, short or long, simple or more challenging. In addition, a 120 km long path network through the entire valley with 11 signposted paths for hiking, running, and walking was built.

Those who want to explore other regions can drive or take a bus trip offered in Gastein to many worthwhile sites. Within one hour, you can reach Salzburg, the salt mines in Hallein, the ice caves in Werfen, Zell am See and Kaprun. Other popular destinations are the Salzkammergut and the trip to the Grossglockner (Austria’s highest mountain) or into the dolomites.
