Liked: It was Modern, clean and good value. It was really useful that although we arrived early and our room wasn't available then, we could still put our luggage into a locked room free of charge until later on. The Hotel was in a very convenient place close to the train station and not too far from the markets etc. The showers were really good and powerful

Disliked: Several things were broken (but when we reported them - they immediately moved us to a room with everything ok). There is no mention that there are noisy trains running frequently close by, all through the night! the rooms were a bit on the small side and the internet that we paid $10 for was a waste of time as it was so slow and it didn't have the ability to download anything as it timed out every time we tried!!!!

Liked: We used the hotel as a base to find permenant digs and it was ideal. 5 mins from Redfern station abd all trains coming from the city stop here so you get a train quickly all the time. Nice staff and simple but nice breakfasts.

Disliked: Rooms were a tad small but we knew that prior to going, they do however have aircon so its bearable.

Liked: Pretty close to the city...walking distance to Central Station (maybe 10 minutes). Pretty nice, clean room.

Liked: It was ok but on a very busy corner and right beside train tracks so i found it a bit noisy at night. It's about a 10 min walk into town. No real problems but I wouldn't stay there again or recommend it to anyone. It was pretty average.

Liked: Y Hotel City South is a very quite hotel, just 10 min walking to the center. They offer a very good breakfast and the rooms, despite they are very little, are completely clean and all the stuff is new. Great value for the money.

Liked: the location was great. it is within walking distance of the centre of sydney. IT IS CLEAN and breakfast which is self service is ready and waiting from 7.30 each morning

Liked: Great central location, easy access to train station. Combined the comfort of a hotel with all the great benefits of a hostel e.g. internet access, free gym, laundry.
