Whale watching (Sept – late Nov) – Narooma is arguably one of the best whale watching areas on the east coast. Whales migrate north at the end of summer and during autumn to warmer waters to mate and give birth, on their return to Antarctica the males, the females and babies linger in the waters off Montague Island to feed on the plentiful supply of krill.
Diving and snorkelling – Whether you choose to snorkel off one of the many beaches or scuba dive at Montague Island with a charter, Narooma has plenty to offer.
Montague Island Tours – Montague Island, located just 9 kms off the coast Narooma is a National Parks and Wildlife Park famous for its lighthouse, seal colonies and penguins (Sept-Jan). Guilded tours on the Island are one of the highlights of visiting Narooma.
Central Tilba abd Tilba Tilba – Step back in time to the 1900’s when these National Trust Villages were abuzz with a gold mining population. Nowdays just enjoy the olde worlde feeling of the retail shops and food outlets or listen to some live music at the Dromedary pub.
