Liked: Magnums on Magnetic has two great pools and a beachvolleyball court.It´s located on the beach and there are some restaurants.I liked having a 6-bed-dorm on my own and there are a lot of activities.It´s very close to the Rock wallabies(you can feed them) I got a towel and shampoo. Very friendly staff:)

Disliked: some things(power points,mirrors) are very used but all in all the hostel is clean

Liked: The lovely pools and the location right near two beaches. Disliked the size of the kitchen and that you had to leave a deposit for everything even pots & pans.

Liked: It had great gardens and pool, but really think they spent more time on them than the rooms. Our room was really dated and smelt, mattresses definately needed to be changed, they were horrible. Only get give one sheet, have to pay for pillow and extra sheet!! Kitchen is awful, only a microwave or a filthy BBQ to cook on, kitchen really dirty. Place was completely dead when we went so we moved to Base!

Liked: This is a chill out place, not like to Magnums in Airlie. the staff were so friendly and helpfull, you could tell they actually enjoyed their jobs. Rooms were basic but clean. The 'kitchen' was a micowave so not great for cooking your own food, but the food server at the Bistro was gorgeous every time. I would defently go back.

Liked: nice pool and bar/bistro area, close to the main walks on the island and a beach. didnt have any problems with bedbugs (as i'd read on previous reviews).
