Overview

In the heart of Cape Tribulation, surrounded by lush Daintree rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef lies the 104 bed Ferntree Hostel. We offer a mix of accommodation with private & dorm share cabins each with their own private balcony, ensuite, mini-fridges, security locks and air-conditioning.

Ferntree Hostel's magnificent gardens are designed to attract the splendid rainforest creatures. Ferntree Hostel has two bars, each by one of the Resort's two pools.

Location Information

Ferntree hostel offers a tranquil base to relax and explore. Just a short walk to the local bar (PKs Jungle Bar), restaurants, food store, pharmacy, & the white sands of Myall Beach. Access the rainforest with a day or night tour, check out the Great Barrier Reef with an Ocean Safari reef tour (only 25 minutes to reef); explore the Dubiji boardwalk and the famous Cape Tribulation Beach.

The hostel offers a communal kitchen, pool with BBQ area, volleyball court, bar and entertainment area, TV lounge and access to the Cassowary Café for breakfast and dinner at Ferntree Rainforest Lodges (next door). Car parking is complimentary.
