Liked: A very friendly, family run and homely place to stay.

Disliked: There is nothing to dislike about Cascade Gardens.

Liked: I stay here for a week in a 6 persons dorm. It's really comfortable & clean. Everyone has one independent bed. I have a kitchen in my room. TV in room. Friendly reception! Next time I travel to Cairns, I will stay here as well.

Disliked: Not so close to the city.

Liked: Decent hotel and an excellent value for money. There is everything you need in Cascade Gardens, staff is very friendly and helpful. If you don't expect marble walls and 68 inch tv in your room, the hotel is definitely for you!

Disliked: Bathrooms would look better if renovated.

Liked: The pool was nice to chill out and take the heat out of the day! Very quiet place to stay if you just want to relax, not the place for you if your up for a party. Within easy walking distance to everything. Nicely decorated room.

Disliked: The Aircon wouldnt turn on and the dryer would only work for approx 10 mins before turning itself off.

Liked: Felt more like staying in a hotel, absolutely lovely. I had a really nice room with tv, ensuite kitchenette etc and was by myself the whole time despite paying for a hostel room was brilliant... luxury!!!! Staff were very friendly... couldnt ask for more really
