Liked: very friendly staff quite good location, far from the new bus station but near beach and restaurants. mix between a hotel and hostel - but works well.

Liked: This hotel is in a great location - only 5 blocks from the beach and about 7 from a nice shopping street called Guellmes. The staff were also really helpful about pointing out directions and calling taxis, etc.!

Disliked: The only thing I didn't like about the hostel is that its actually not 3 blocks from the bus station like it says online - the bus station moved and now its about a 20 peso taxi ride to the hostel. Otherwise, no complaints!

Liked: It was clean & simple enough, their description of their property is fairly accurate.

Disliked: Bed was not so good, obviouly old so a little "sunken" in the middle. I've also never been at a hotel where I've asked for a late checkout of an hour and been told I would have to pay a half day extra for that.

Liked: Good location. The hostel is pretty clean, one of the maids was very kind. I liked that they make your bed every day and that towels are included in the rate.

Disliked: The mattresses are very thin. Breakfast is poor.

Liked: Although the layout is a bit sparse (aka not conducive to meeting other travellers), the biggest thing for us was the owner. She was extremely accomodating, helping us find our way around, writing down phrases in Spanish and just overall being a very gracious host. She introduced us to all of our roomates which made for a friendly atmosphere. The location of the hostel is also a plus, being very close to the beach and night life. I would reccommend this hostel to anyone traveling in the area. It was also very clean. Our beds were made everyday.

Disliked: Bathrooms are small, but cleaned daily. Could have a better common area but the layout of the building doesn't really allow for that.

Liked: Doesn't do anything very well, but it's ok on most counts. Biggest minus point is you can only use the kitchen for making sandwiches and tea etc, no cooking. Also no computer for guests, though there is a good locutorio over the road, and no lockers, but the hotel is well watched and you can lock the rooms. It is very convenient for the bus station and good for the beach and town centre. If you just want to get on the beach for a couple of days and have somewhere to rest up go for it.

Liked: The location of the htl is very good, close to the beaches and the plaza...I liked its location and what i can i say about the hostel, it is an hostel and i would not hope more than a hostel, i can reccommend this hostel if there is no more chance.
