Liked: Excellent location in the vibrant San Telmo district. Staff is friendly and helpful and maintain a secure building. It is a simple place yet a great deal for the budget traveler.

Liked: The hotel is in an excellent part of town and has bags of character with lovely high ceilings and ornate detailing. We stayed here and liked it so much went back on our return to BA. Balcony rooms are noisy, Quiet rooms are to the rear of the hotel. San telmo is a fantastic neighbourhood too. Please note that if you like Fancy or Commercial hotels then I would not recommend this place, but if you like the flaky-paint vibe then go for it!

Liked: Cheap, no fuss. Wifi, but no computers or breakfast. Close to San Telmo's Defensa area. Pretty clean shared bathrooms.

Liked: The main guy who runs the place, sorry I forgot his name, very genial and fun loving. The rest of the staff is very helpful and the service is tip top. Close to the bus station and all the great downtown spots. Downtown being 3 blocks away. I really enjoyed my stay here.
