Liked: One of the best hostels we've been to in Africa. Awesome chill out space, awesome pool, bar, great food, clean comfy beds, good showers, great vibe, good deals on activities....all round great hostel.

Disliked: Expensive wifi, breakfast not included, self catering kitchen should be better based on the standard set by the rest of the hostel.

Liked: Great location, awsome pool that sometimes gets really crowded and even though we had booked a dorm for three people they could arrange for us to stay in a double room with an extra bed!

Disliked: The price maybe, but I am a hardcore backpacker

Liked: Had a great bar and chillout area, really easy to meet people

Disliked: Although the atmosphere is good the actual accommodation itself is bad. The beds were uncomfortable, the fan in our room didn't work and the pillow was a rock. The worst thing was that you have to request sheets (which they dont tell you when you check in), and give a deposit for them, which isnt really a big deal in itself but 2 days running i asked for them and they told me they had run out. It was only when I complained at reception that they suddenly realised they did have sheets, which shows the guy I originally asked just couldn't be bothered getting them. Also we had to change room half way through the stay even though we'd booked 2 months in advance, and they didnt even apologise. Finally although some of the staff are extremely helpful and friendly, one lady in particular was extremely rude

Liked: This place is amazing. Its like a little oasis in the middle of Southern Africa. The communal facilities are great, the staff are very, very helpful (seriously, never had such helpful staff), great vibe that allows you to party or just relax in pillow pit. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in!

Disliked: The dorms are a little cramped for space and there are not enough lockers. Lack of bedding and mostiquto nets is also frustrating. Food is a little pricy by local standards.

Liked: Very good backpackers. Lots on offer (cheaper transfers, taxis, events in the evening, book swaps with donations to the local orphanage, chill out areas, kitchen, restaurant, bar - it's got it all!) and the rooms are good, air conditioned and well kept (stayed in a mixed 8 dorm as a single female traveler and was absolutely fine). Good location for shops too. Highly recommended.

Disliked: Nothing. Very well run hostel and all the staff were helpful. Highly recommended!

Liked: Great tour information desk. Lots of cool places to chill.

Disliked: No mosquito nets!!!! Lots of mosquitos.

Liked: Friendly and well informed staff. Bar took various currencies, which was great when first arrived with only sterling. Good trips booked from there and relaxed ambience

Disliked: Rooms were perhaps in need of an up grade - especially the shower areas

Liked: Good location, good place to stay in SUMMER ONLY. It was three degrees my first night, there are only screens in the windows, so you can imagine that it's a bit similar to sleeping outside. Bunks are very clsode together, blankets only available at bar, stunk like a campfire again due to no windows, only screens. Probably a lovely place in warm weather. If cold, AVOID unless you have thermals/zero degree sleeping bag.

Disliked: no windows in rooms, only screens, allowing outside temperature inside

Liked: Great hostel, nice parties (if your interested), nice atmosphere, good for solo travelers

Disliked: basic (what else do you expect for the price!), boat tour that was sold was not so suitible for people just enjoying the view as there lots of young kids drinking the unlimited beer

Liked: The staff were very friendly and were always around to help you out. The people you meet there are also seemingly all fantastic - I found the whole stay there very relaxing and the trips that are on offer are also fairly good value for money, and very easily to organise which is a bonus.

Disliked: Any problems I had weren't reflective of the hostel, so I don't really have any.

Liked: I LOVED this hostel!!!! It has everything anybody could hope for in a backpackers. Great relaxing area and swimming pool, helpful staff and good atmosphere.

Disliked: Nothing at all.

Liked: hardly asnything as activites were expensive, and there is little to do when the weather is raining.

Disliked: to be honest as soon as i arrived we told the receptionist about the problem with the Zambia visa and we were told " so you didnt read the info about getting the fee" Excuse me, obviously no..it rained so we had to stay in the hostel most of the time and very few guests,

Liked: Excellent backpacker hostel. A lot of facilities, nice staff, good bar, swimming pool! Amazing place to stay when visiting Livingstone! Excellent value money. No complains to do!!

Liked: This is the best hostel i have ever stayed at, and I have traveled extensively. Even if I had all the money in the world for a fancy hotel, I would still stay here because the atmosphere was amazing. Great Value!!!

Disliked: the only nitpicky thing is that one of the showers didnt have hot water, so you would have to wait for the good one.
