The house is located near the centre of the village. The high street is 200 metres down hill and offers shops, banks, bus station, pubs, cafes, library, information centre and park with children play area and games fields.

The canoe club is nearby. Llandysul's historical church is worth a visit. The river Teifi is famous for its beauty and excellent salmon fishing (permit required) and runs through the town. A short drive takes you to many other places of interest, notably the Heritage Coast boasting excellent beaches, as well as some excellent eateries and local pubs.


Spar is open 8am to 10pm daily.
Good whole food shops are in Newcastle Emlyn (8 miles), Lampeter (14 miles) and Carmarthen (20 miles).
Fresh fish and local meat is available in Llandysul, and local organic vegetables can be delivered to the house by arrangement.

Accommodation Information

Lovely studio apartment with separate
entrance (with steps) and own outdoor garden area, BBQ and seating. The Studio is part of the house, but completely self-contained and includes fully equipped kitchen, excellent shower, central heating, pure cotton bed linen, digital TV and library of books, maps and games to borrow.
Parking is available, and for cyclists there
is a secure garage for bike storage.

In addition there are two more rooms in the house, one double and one twin. Both are tastefully decorated and heated. Bathroom and kitchen facilities are shared with other guests. Digital TV and Broadband connection are also available.

From April there is a warm, luxurious YURT in the garden right next to the apartment. This is a beautiful space for sleeping, relaxing, reading etc. On this website the YURT is marketed as a cabin (1 bedroom). Bathroom and kitchen facilities are shared with other guests in the house.
