Liked: Very cheap out of season and beautiful dining hall (for the view). Nice facilites and very friendly staff. Location is a bit up the hill, but also enjoys a nice view on Conwy.

Disliked: A bit quiet. Probably not a place to meet other people (there are still the friendly Welsh to get to know over a pint in Conwy though).

Liked: Everything, what I read on the website, was true.

Disliked: We wanted go to swimm, but it wasn't available. But it was ok, it wasn't a big problem.

Liked: It has had a major revamp since I was last here 3 years ago and now for the most part must be one of the best hostels in Britain. The rooms are some of the best Ive seen with well designed bunks, new fittings and all ensuited. The eatery is not backpacker cheap but is good value with the food generously portioned. The views from the place are great.

Disliked: In this day and age for such a well appointed and modern hostel to not only charge for wifi... but EIGHT POUNDS?! It is down right disgusting. You can get a MONTH of wifi with any telco for under 20 quid so there is simply no excuse for this fee. Needless to say I went offline for the night. Ruined what would otherwise be a near perfect score. Didnt look at the kitchen but will on the next visit.

Liked: Good place to stay even have to walk up to the hill. Nice and very clean room, each room have toilet and shower. Kitchen is big and clean. If weather is nice can eat outside, would love to go back to this place.
