Liked: Riverhouse Backpackers is close to the central railstation and the city center.Nice staff who really cares about you.There's a kitchen and even a washing machine for all guests!Bathrooms were a nice surprise. Clean, practical and enough numerous for everyone.

Liked: It's more fantastic than words could ever describe. Everything is so wonderful here, the staff is amazing, and they keep everything very clean and orderly. They even let me borrow their personal umbrella so I could buy one for myself. I will definitely be staying here again and again. I recommend this place very highly. It's right by the shopping district and about a six or seven minute drive from Cardiff Bay. I adore this place.

Liked: I found everything very good :-) Rooms were small but clean, and as I was a single female they put me in a room with other females which was great. Breakfast was also included which I liked, setting me up for a morning of sightseeing.

Liked: This was the best hostel we have stayed in, in all of UK and Europe! Charlie and his wife were amazing people. They really make you feel at home.Best part, is the kitchen facillity. Absolutely amazing!Would stay here again in a second. Right by the train station, could walk to the ocean, or walk to the major shopping areas.Right across from the Stadium. Also, the bathrooms were astonishing! We walked into them, and couldn't believe our eyes!!Definetely stay here!

Liked: The Riverhouse Backpackers is a very cozy hostel just a stone's throw away from Cardiff Castle and about 7 minutes by foot from the central station. It's located in a quiet neighborhood just by the river.The interior is absolutely lovely and you can feel all the care that is being given to it. I loved the modern kitchen, the dining room and the patio. The breakfast offered something for everyone and stood in refreshing contrast to the English breakfast I had expected (toast and sausages). When I was there apples and bananas would be available in the dining room all day. The hostel has separate, lockable bathrooms, which is pure luxury compared to most other hostels.The staff was super friendly and helpful! It seemed like the whole atmosphere had a positive impact on the guests as everyone in the house seemed to be very polite and considerate.Definitely the best hostel I have ever stayed at. Keep up the great service!!!

Liked: Best hostel we have ever encountered, either on current 7 month trip or in previous travels. Unbelievable breakfast included, really excellent facilities (better bathrooms and living areas than at home!). Simply outstanding.

Liked: the place is amazing! very clean, nice decorated, very helpful and pleasant staff. The breakfast was one of the best i have ever had! Plus I really enjoyed the moovie night on friday with free chocolate for everyone! I totally recommend this hostel to all the people who wants to enjoy their stay in Cardiff. I will definetly come back, very soon!
