Liked: lovely hostels, staff and guests all really friendly, have some great nights on at the hostel and often free food on offer which is brilliant. the hostel was really clean modern and a great place to stay to enjoy cardiff

Liked: The staff were so welcoming and helpful - nothing was too much trouble! The dorm, bathrooms and kitchen were all so clean, which makes a big difference, and the breakfast was great! Will definitely be staying again and would recommend this place to anyone.

Liked: Great hostel. Helpful staff. Free wifi. 5 mins walk from city centre. Amazing breakfast. You can borrow a parking pass for the street. Clean facilities. Well equipped kitchen for self catering. Shame the bed was very saggy.

Liked: This was hands down the BEST hostel I've ever stayed in (and I've been traveling and living in hostels for 5 weeks now). The staff were incredibly friendly, and it had a first class breakfast. This place had all the little things that other hostels don't have, making this one simply the best. If ever I return to Cardiff, I will most definitely be staying here again.

Liked: We stayed in a 4 bed dorm overlooking the river. This is a lovely place, with beutiful kitchen and courtyard. Very welcoming vibe.

Liked: A great stay for a great value! Accommodation is clean and quiet, and the staff are cheerful and very helpful. Everyone is familiar with the area and can give good advice on what to see. Breakfast was lovely, and the showers were excellent!

Liked: Very friendly, helpful, welcoming staff. We didn't use the kitchen, but it looked amazing, best that I've seen in a hostel. It's in a good location also.

Liked: Riverhouse has been the best hostel I have stayed in so far. It was friendly, clean and had such a homely feel which is nice after you've been travelling for awhile. Internet, breakfast and lockers were all excellent too. Thanks to Charlie and Abi for making this a great stay!

Liked: Great location (walking distance to train station, city centre). Family-run establishment - owners were friendly, helpful without being intrusive. Very warm atmosphere. Rooms were basic, mattresses (bunkbeds) thin, but adequate and clean. Toilets/showers are all shared, but spacious, modern and very clean. Continental breakfast (included) was a generous spread of toast,pastries,yoghurt,cereal etc. Would definitely go back again

Liked: this is the best hostel i've ever stayed in. everything is new and clean, especially the kitchen and the bathrooms. The staff there are extremely friendly and helpful. when i had a toothache in the midnight, the receptionist kindly helped me to contact the hospital. i was very thankful to this hostel. i will definitely stay at riverhouse next time i visit Cardiffe.
