Liked: Location is brilliant. The hostel was very clean with friendly staff. Excellent value for money with a good breakfast option included

Liked: Great location, Luxury kitchen and baths. FREE internet and video rentals. Very helpful and friendly staff. Wesh people just lovely and cordial. Food in shops affordable, unlike London.

Disliked: Advise to plan to wshower in eve. Mornings everybody wanted the shower at the same time.

Liked: Good free breakfast, awesome location, the owners Abi and Charles(?) were both super nice. Nice TV/lounge room for watching movies and tv shows. Like the smaller dorm rooms.

Disliked: Only one computer for hire, so had to wait a while. The night girl didn't really speak English well so she wasn't very helpful.

Liked: Everything!!! This was the best hostel I've stayed at by far! The staff were helpful and efficient and the hostel was really customer focused. We had free access to everything we needed to stay comfortably like hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner and bath soap, wifi, book swap, TV, tea and coffee etc. The common room and kitchen facilities were modern and clean and really pleasant to spend time in. The room was clean and comfortable with good sized lockers. The location was on the river and a close walk to the city centre and train station, Couldn't fault it!

Liked: I loved the kitchen and dining/deck/garden area. This is a great hostel with loads of atmosphere if you are the seasoned hosteler. I loved the chocolate biscuits on Tuesday night. The breakfast was great as well as the free Wi-fi. I really enjoyed my stay here and would come back again.

Disliked: Nothing really. Only thing was the bed was alittle hard, but you can't expect to live in the lap or luxury when staying at a hostel. This place came pretty close to being the lap of luxury at hostel price.

Liked: Excellent atmosphere - felt like a B&B or a nice guest house. Great entertainment etc. in the loungeroom and dining room. Bedrooms nice and clean and all bathrooms also very clean. It really felt like I was a guest at their home. The staff I met were very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Nothing! All was very good.

Liked: One of the cleanest youth hostel I've ever stayed in. I had no problem walking around bare-foot. The staff are friendly and helpful. The place is decorated nicely and has character. The free Wifi works well. The free breakfast was great!

Disliked: One of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept on. There was a steel bar right through the middle of the bed, and made it impossible to sleep. This ruined an otherwise great experience. I only stayed one night, so I didn't ask for another room/bed, but I think the staff would have been helpful had I asked. The rooms were tiny and a bit cramped. This also made them quite hot and stuffy (July/August in the UK are surprisingly warm). This meant we had to leave the windows open, and listen to street noise all night. I am being very nit-picky here, but the location is just alright. Its walking distance to the city centre, but the immediate vicinity is quite desolate and depressing. Not a positive first-impression of Cardiff. Something in the city centre would have a more cheerful and lively vibe in the area around it.

Liked: This hostel is the best hostel that we have stayed at in last 2 months! Clean and tidy with excellent facilities including interner and sky! Decent free breakfast in the morning! A must for anyone staying in Cardiff.

Disliked: Nothing other then fellow traveller snoring!
