Liked: Breakfast amazing, you even get Welshcakes! Excellent location, excellent views, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms. Couldn't ask for more!!! Very homely, wish I could have stayed longer.

Liked: First of all i wish that every city should have so nice hostel as this! Breakfast was super, much more than expexted, many different kind of mueslies, marmelades, fruits, juices, free cafe and tea all the time. And free dinner or cake for some evenings was great surprise:) Bathrooms are privat and very clean. Rooms also very nice and clean! Deffinately no. 1 hostel in Cardiff!!!

Liked: Fantastic hostel. Super clean and modern. Owners are so friendly and have thought of every little detail. They even organise events like free pasta night or cider and snacks night to bring the guests together. Breakfast is very, very good.

Liked: Great location, excellent breakfast, friendly staff (and cat), very clean.

Disliked: The lockers in the rooms were a bit small, but other than that it was perfect

Liked: We realy didn't spend time that much on the hotel, but the Wi-Fi was great, I could use it in the room and the price was very cheap. The general atmosphere of the hostel was welcoming and friendly. I liked the kitchen very much, it was big and the breakfast was okay, though slice of bacon would have perfected it, have to buy it myself next time :)

Disliked: Room was really ascetic, just beds and a wall, but I guess it was what we paid for :)

Liked: I had the most amazing time staying at RiverHouse. 1) Comfortable and welcoming surroundings (comfortable sofas, kitchen, dining areas, out door patio) 2) Good facilities; free shower gel if you forget yours, nice breakfast, 3) Great atmosphere; the hostel does daily events (like free cider, or pizza, or pasta, or cake) on evenings, which is nice not only because you get a little treat, but it gives guests a a focal point to gather and creates a great atmosphere! 4) Fabulous location; literally minutes walk from the train station, free map on arrival, very easy walking distance to all main attractions and transportation links. Overall, very very good stay!! Thanks!!

Disliked: 1) The beds could have been a little more comfortable, but that's to be expected in a bunk bed! 2) Water pressure in the showers on the top floor was low on my very last shower, but never had a problem before then. 3) They're not the cheapest, but I think it's worth it for all these perks!

Liked: Excellent location. A great kitchen and a pleasant terrace. Free pizza or pasta in the evening!

Disliked: Bathroom at a different floor from the bedrooms so not very convenient. Beds not very comfortable.

Liked: Super friendly and helpful staff, very clean and comfortable accommodation, good location- 5 minute walk to the centre of Cardiff. Wonderful kitchen facilities and outdoor sitting area. Delicious breakfast included was a bonus!

Disliked: Nothing! It was fantastic!

Liked: the location was great, the owners abi and charlie were so lovely and helpful. included breakfast was great and the hostel was so clean!

Liked: The staff was really friendly and helpfull. They have prepared some dinner for guests every evening.

Disliked: There were lack of silks. In fact, there were 3 or 4 small bathrooms with toilet, shower and silk and some separate showers and toilets without silk. The trouble was, that these small bathrooms were almost always blocked. So you have to wait even if you want just wash your hands.

Liked: Charlie ws so friendly. The free pizza dinner was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. The map of Cardiff provided on arrival was helpful. The breakfast provided was lavish - croissants, berries, three types of juice, youghurt, welsh cakes, cereal, toast, and tea or coffee or hot chocolate all day. It was easy walkingdistnc to the town centre, on the river, and had super clean bathrooms and a beautiful outside area to sit in. A lounge for tv or dvd watching and free wi-fi, or computer for internet if you needed. Not a party hostel but had a great homely feel.

Disliked: I had no dislikes.

Liked: I love this place,it is the best hostel i have ever seen .Great location,very beautiful and clean place.The breakfast is so good.And this is the first time i want to say something on internet about hostels.I recommend this hostel to everybody who wants to find a hostel in Cardiff!

Liked: Great location, very close to the city centre and train station, but in a quiet area of town. Made very welcome when we arrived, the room was spacious, overlooking the milleneum stadium and river. Also the free breakfast was just what we needed after a night out.

Liked: The fact that it was 4-5 minute walk to almost the nearest park, city center and bus station, train stration made the place perfect, and it is just located right beside the Millenium Stadium made it unique. Originally I was supposed to stay for one day, but I liked the hostel so much because of the staff, and the fact that it was so clean and tidy at the hostel, that made me stay 4 days extra days. Thx to Abi, Charlie and Paulo.

Disliked: The bunks was the only thing that could have been better for such a high quality hostel. But it really was a good place to be. Thumbs up!
