Overview
Riverhouse Backpackers is one of Cardiff's premiere 4 star hostels. We opened in late 2007 to rave reviews and the brother and sister team have made sure this will be your best hostel experience you will come across on your travels.
The Victorian house has been fully renovated so everything inside is brand spanking new, with private lockable bathrooms (like you have at home), a beautiful lounge with large LCD TV, internet station, DVD library and Wi-Fi. Our new kitchen is fully equipped and our dining room has French doors going out to our attractive decked blooming garden.
There is now no need to rough it in a dingy hostel - we just upped the standard!
Group bookings, business trips, college trips, families, independent travelers - all are welcome.

We are only four minutes walk from the central train and bus stations (closer than any other backpackers) and right next to everything this buzzing capital of Wales has to offer.

At Riverhouse Backpackers we have dorm beds and private rooms available both with free breakast!
Female-only dorms available on request.
Cancellation policy:
Dorms:
For dormitory beds you may cancel your booking by giving us the minimum 48 hours notice without cancellation charges. After this time you will be charged for all the nights booked.
Private rooms:
For private rooms you may cancel your booking by giving us the minimum 7 days notice without cancellation charges. After this time you will be charged for all the nights booked.
Group bookings:
For group bookings (4 people or more) you may cancel your booking by giving us the minimum 7 days notice without cancellation charges. After this time you will be charged for all the nights booked.
Cancellations must be made by e-mail only.
For group bookings over 10 please contact the Groups Reservation Service on the HostelBookers website.
